A cool police inspector has been having some trouble at work lately. The serious and impregnable demeanor that inspired her nickname “Steel” has been weakening. She met someone who was quite her opposite: a low-ranked detective from whom everyone expected little, if any, contributions. Her cool demeanor melts away when she feels love for the first time. We’ll see if she manages to get her racing heart under control when Ms. Isshiki Wants to Know About Love (Isshiki-san wa Koi wo Shiritai) premieres sometime in January 2027.

Ayune Araragi released the original Rinna Keibu wa Kokyu ga Dekinai manga series between October 27th, 2016, and December 27th, 2017. Ichijinsha published all three volumes in Monthly Comic Rex. That initial series differs from the current iteration, such as its London setting. Araragi began releasing the current iteration, Ms. Isshiki Wants to Know About Love, on June 26th, 2020. Kadokawa Shoten has since published ten volumes in Monthly Shonen Ace.

The two love-struck cops are as follows:
- Rinna Miliford Isshiki — Riko Akechi (Kanade Gouhara from Witch Watch). Rinna is a talented police inspector with little grasp of love. She was originally Rinna Miliford, a police inspector working for the London police force.
- Meishi Rokutanda — Shuichiro Umeda (Yuuki Izumi in Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie). Meishi is a low-ranked detective in the lost child department. He was originally Meishi Leland, a detective working in London.

Rinna Miliford Isshiki is a half-British police inspector. She inspires awe and fear in equal measure thanks to her steel-like demeanor, keen mind, and impeccable physical skills. Rinna became her station’s police inspector at the age of 17, further highlighting her skills. However, those skills have been failing her lately. Being around her subordinate, Meishi Rokutanda, makes her heart race. So much so that she visited a hospital for a physical examination.
After completely losing her touch at work, Rinna confronted Meishi about how he made her feel. A movie promotion completely reflected her physical ailments and explained that it was love. Meishi then asked Rinna out on a date to help her. She accidentally rejected him when she fled from the scene. They managed to clear the air while hiding in a tight locker and agreed to become lovers.
