It’s no secret that you can score some impressive deals on Humble Bundle, while also getting to support some great charities and non-profits. I know that I have personally added to my video game and book libraries over the years for not much money, thanks to the site. Now I’m being tempted once again by one of the most stellar manga deals the Internet has seen in a long time!
For the deal, Humble Bundle has teamed up with Kodansha Comics to offer literally dozens of manga volumes for a low, low price. There are five tiers in this deal starting at $1 and topping out at $20. Here’s the full list of every series being offered within the deal (in alphabetical order) and a short description of each.
Beck
Story
Fourteen-year-old Yukio Tanaka is one heck of a boring guy. He has no hobbies, weak taste in music, and only a small vestige of a personality. His shy and somewhat neurotic personality makes him his own worst enemy. Little does he know that his life will be forever changed when he meets rocker Ryusuke Minami, an unpredictable sixteen-year-old with a cool dog named Beck. Ryusuke has just returned to Japan from America, and when he inspires Yukio to get into music, the two begin a journey through the world of rock ‘n’ roll dreams!
The manga was created by Harold Sakuishi and published from 1999 to 2008. By its conclusion, it was compiled into 34 volumes. In October 2004, a 26-episode anime adaptation from studio Madhouse premiered on television airwaves.
Descending Stories
Story
This multi-generational epic dives deep into rakugo, a rich form of Japanese storytelling theater. Small-time crook Yotaro has never forgotten the rakugo tale “The God of Death,” which the master Yurakutei Yakumo performed for Yotaro during his time in prison. After his release, he goes to Yakumo’s theater and pleads to be made his apprentice. Yakumo reluctantly accepts, but Yotaro quickly finds the world of rakugo is complex and grapples with a growing bond with Yakumo’s ward, Konatsu. Meanwhile, the two young people bring reminders of Yakumo’s own inescapable past.
Created by Haruko Kumota, this series was serialized from 2010 to 2016 and eventually received a two-season anime adaptation produced by Studio DEEN, starting in 2016.

The classic harem romance series created by Ken Akamatsu only ran from 1998 to 2001, but, by the end, it had amassed fourteen collected volumes! In the year 2000, it was adapted into a 24 episode anime series produced by Xebec.

But most have chosen to conceal their lethal purpose behind ordinary human faces. So no one knows their secret — except an ordinary high school student. Shin is battling for control of his own body against an alien parasite, but can he find a way to warn humanity of the horrors to come?
