The Hole-Filling Staff of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!

The production team behind Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru released a trailer for the upcoming TV anime. They also released production staff news and revealed the show’s opening song, “Kase no Naka wa Hashirukkyanai” by Sangatsu No Phantasia. The voice cast behind Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! includes:

• Shogo Sakata as Ume Muzunoe
• Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki
• Hiyori Kono as Tan Otori (HORNINESS INCREASES)
• Miyu Tomaita as Komaro Michinoku
• Shizuka Ishigami as Arisu Terui
• Yumi Uchiyama as Satomi Hiratsuka

Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Nisekoi, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World) will direct Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!. Additional production staff includes:

• Arisa Komatsu — Color Design
• Hiromichi Itou — Art Director
• Junpei Takatsu — Director of Photography
• Masahiro Yokotani — Script, Series Composition
• Misato Takikawa — Editing

Ame Sanzashi, Asari Oki, Ji Chong, Kay Yu, Konaming, and Mockingbird will all work on key animation for Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru. Studio Passione, a J-List favorite, will animate Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!.

Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! Deets

Falling a year or a semester behind always blows. So, when Fujinasu Academy’s top brass gave Ume Mizunoe a chance to avoid repeating a year by joining the student council, he readily agrees. But if Ume-kun expected anything close to a normal, lackluster, tedious endeavor, he couldn’t be more wrong! His new colleagues are meccha weird — there are perverts, idiots, and menaces to society. And now Ume is in the gutter with those rejects! Will he be able to survive a full year alongside degenerates?

Muchimaro writes and illustrates the Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! manga. Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) has serialized the ecchi comedy since its April 27, 2022, debut. Kodansha has since released thirteen volumes. Passione released an animated PV to coincide with the manga’s seventh volume. That PV is the most popular on the Shonen Magazine YouTube channel. It’s even surpassed Attack on Titan and Fire Force — such is the power of dudes who look like kawaii waifus. Kadokawa awarded the manga the 2023 Next Manga Award for the print category.

Seven Seas Entertainment releases the English version of the manga through its Ghost Ship imprint. Though with only three volumes, the English release is far behind the Japanese one.

The production company behind Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! announced that Tokyo MX will air the series in Japan. As of writing (Sunday, August 23), no Western streaming service has announced that they’ll simulcast or stream Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru.
