The Dewey Decimal System Is So Hot Right Now

The Japanese obsession with schoolgirls, their uniforms, swimsuits, and school life probably speaks to a wanderlust for youth’s better days. Ohno Kanae perfectly captures Komiya’s virginal desperation, with trembling lips, watering eyes, and the soft kind of begging for more that breaks even the strongest men’s will. The juxtaposition between Kijima’s experience and Komiya’s inexperience provides an interesting dynamic, and Kijima encourages her throughout. He takes a leading role, for sure, but never forcibly dominates her — throughout their coupling, Komiya is very much in control.

We mention this because, shortly before Komiya and Kijima hook up, Kijima roughly screws one of his many girlfriends, resulting in a loud altercation. It’s no secret that Japanese culture struggles with consent, and it’s not something you expect to see brought up in a doujin. But even the slightest discussion is a welcome start.
