Whenever I hear that an ecchi manga is ending, it feels like I’m losing a friend. Colors seem to lose their vigor. The days suddenly get shorter. And time coalesces into a milky white substance. That’s how I’ve been feeling since I found out that Oumi Suzu’s The Girl Past the Filters is ending on August 25. Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon announced that its next issue will include the last chapter of Filter Goshi no Kanojo.

The Girl Past the Filters Details & Synopsis
Oumi Suzu writes and illustrates The Girl Past the Filters. The story follows Narumi Hakobe, a boy with a smile that would make Medusa proud. Naru-kun’s smile was so terrifying that it caused others to shun him when he was a little kid. And that memory was so uncomfortable that it became his complex. Years later, and now in high school, Narumi squanders his days by hiding his emotions and expressions. He became so withdrawn that following the lewd social media model, Efa, became his only hobby.
Yet, to Naru-kun’s luck, one day his lucky lecher powers activated, and he ran into his erotic idol, Efa! But there’s an issue. Or rather, there’s an issue in waiting. The girl he’s so infatuated with is his classmate, the do-no-wrong, straitlaced Koto Mitsuha! How can Narumi navigate the rom-com scenario life placed him in? Well, he can help Koto-chan create racy content! After all, classmates that do lewd stuff together, prosper together.
Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon has serialized The Girl Past the Filters since April 2022. The publisher has since released 10 volumes of the manga and has announced that the 11th will ship on November 20. Yen Press released the manga in English. The MangaHot app (Coamix and Imagineer) also publishes the English manga. However, MangaHot titled the release Secret Girl through the Filter.
