(Kashita Maryoku wa Ribo Barai de Kyousei Choushuu) premieres October 3, 2026. The Most Expensive Party Expulsion in Fantasy
Magic Repo Man follows Lent (yes, the man’s name is literally “rent” as a pronunciation joke), holder of the S-rank Gift Magic Warehouse. It lets him lend magic to his companions, helping the Skypiercers (his adventuring party) grow stronger while he remains physically weak. Their gratitude expires before the loan does, and the party expels him with plenty of MP still outstanding.
That unpaid balance becomes Lent’s new source of power. His evolved Gift unlocks Forced Collection, letting him reclaim the magic he supplied — with interest. Empee (MP!), his support fairy, manages the system and greets uncooperative debtors with unnervingly sunny efficiency. The title’s ribo barai means “revolving payment,” turning fantasy finance into a combat mechanic. Past-due MP has consequences.
Meet the Magic Repo Man Debtors, Collectors, and Production Team
Magic Repo Man assembles a cast ready to turn every overdue account into an encounter:
- Reiji Kawashima — Lent: The support specialist whose loans built a stronger party — and whose upgraded Gift makes him a highly motivated creditor.
- Emiri Katou — Empee: A cheerful magic manager with professional zeal and zero patience for malicious debtors.
- Risae Matsuda — Linka: A fellow expelled adventurer and hard-hitting berserker who becomes Lent’s new ally.
- Daiki Hamano — Guy: The Skypiercers’ self-important Swordsman leader and prime candidate for an aggressive repayment reminder.
- Akira Sekine — Misa: The Skypiercers’ cunning Mage, now dodging danger and past-due notices.
- Yuu Kobayashi — Elle: The Skypiercers’ incurious Healer, awaiting someone else’s payment instructions.
- Daisuke Namikawa — Roger: A newly promoted figure whose role expands Lent’s post-expulsion journey.
The Magic Repo Man production team includes:
- Animation production — SynergySP
- Director — Takahiro Tamano
- Series composition — Ryuusuke Mori
- Character design — Kazue Mori
- Music — Kow Otani
- Sound director — Keiko Urakami
That production team adapts a story Masakichi developed as a web novel, with Shingou Iijima creating the manga version. Seven Seas publishes the manga in English.
That publication history places Magic Repo Man within a busy field of party-expulsion fantasy. Recent J-List coverage of Yami Healer and The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids also follows undervalued support specialists after miserable parties lose the people carrying them. Lent adds a sharper repossession punch: his former teammates still owe the magic that made them strong, and Empee has arrived to audit the account.
Where to Watch Magic Repo Man

Bottom Line: Magic Repo Man gives party-expulsion fantasy a memorable debt-collection twist through its magic-loan mechanic. Empee supplies the comic spark, treating every repayment dispute like the happiest assignment on her schedule.
