I know at least 40 percent of Kakushite! Makina-san!! viewers were waiting for the OP’s loli to show up. Luckily for them, she finally showed up in Makina-san a Love Bot?!, episode 6 … and she’s also a love bot! But if this episode serves as anything, it’s a cautionary tale that you should never help random people on the street.
With episode 6 increasing the nudity and laughs, we can safely assume that Kakushite! Makina-san!! will be the strongest comedic ecchi of the season. How I wish more people were open to sexual content because this show has been on par with Grand Blue and those spicy KonoSuba OVAs. If you have someone you think would appreciate ecchi anime if presented with the right show, Makina-san a Love Bot?! should be the show you recommend. This anime understands that sexual content is entertainment and not merely jack-off material.
Makina-san a Love Bot?!, Episode 6 — Defective AI
I’ve never understood why people have their phone with them in compromising situations. Never say or put something in your phone that you wouldn’t want your parents to see or wouldn’t be comfortable defending in court. Yet, despite being the world’s GREATEST, BESTEST, #1 HIGH-SPECS AI, Makina-san is unaware of this. In fact, Makina-san a Love Bot?!, episode 6 opens with her phoning Mamimi to let her know she shouldn’t plug Eita’s bunghole with a taser. But instead of going into another room and calling her like a normal person, she does it as Eita gives her the two-finger waddle.
I’ve never been into machines and tech stuff, so I never knew how erotic fixing a robot could be. But if this is what the future brings, I can’t wait to call AI our supreme leaders. I’m prone to seasonal depression, but unlike most people who get it in winter, I get it in summer. After the temperature passes 90°, my life’s nothing but lament. Yet despite my current rumination, seeing Makina worked up and aroused brought so much joy into my life that I gained a few more years.
Killer Lolis
Remember last week’s episode when someone saw Makina giving her best Chelsea (Akame Ga Kill) impression? The person who saw that wasn’t a mere cutesy loli — it was a loli love bot! And if that phrase doesn’t put me on an FBI list, I’ll thank the current administration for making the FBI incompetent.
That aside, let me ask you an important question. What would you do if you left your apartment and found a piss-soaked loli? And she says that she had seen a ghost? I’d call the cops or CPS. Why? Because everything about that dilemma screams, “Make this someone else’s problem.” I may embrace my altruistic side one day, but it’s not that day if I’m in that scenario.
On the other hand, Eita is renowned for welcoming sketchy-looking women into his apartment. So, he rushes to tell Makina about his planned kindness, and let me tell you something, my dear readers. Telling a girl that lives with you that you have a FAR younger girl in your shower is one of life’s greatest trials. If you escape that unscathed, you’re two steps away from becoming a wizard.
But things quickly went as badly as the second season of The Promised Neverland. Mimika (loli-san) quickly used her charm to make Eita bugger off and isolate Makina. And once she accomplished that, she pinned Makina down with the help of a banana and stole her body. Which, you know, makes sense — a love bot needs to be stimulating. Ironically, a loli love bot would get more information from politicians and other targets. But my legal counsel says it’s unwise to complete this sentence.
Makina-san a Love Bot?!, Episode 6 — Overall Thoughts
So far, I’ve had only minor complaints about this show. That’s something that hasn’t changed. Many will argue that the show is repetitive, but I’d counter by saying that all shows are repetitive. Take something as well-received as Jobless Reincarnation; it may have the best world-building I’ve seen since I started watching anime, but I can still call it repetitive. The same thing constantly happens, and that’s true for most shows. Hell, Love Live! finally debuted Ikizuraibu! Love Live! Bluebird, and the idols will once again have to save something. But I can guarantee you that it’s still going to have massive sales.
Repetition isn’t necessarily bad; it’s how it’s carried out. Kakushite! Makina-san!! is adept at taking a two-stroke plot and keeping it comedic. Since we’re halfway through the anime, it seems likely that any potential subplot will remain lingering in the background. Or at the very least, it will only get partial coverage. The girl creating clones and possibly love bots shows up in the ED. So, there’s little doubt that she makes it into the anime and plays some role in it, but what or when is another matter.
