Shimoneta — It’s Less a Parody and More an Uncomfortable Glimpse Into the Future
Not once throughout history has banning or repressing something ever worked. Think of how many lives, how much money, and how much effort have been wasted on the war on drugs, only for drugs to constantly come out on top. The same goes for sexual content; you never get rid of it, you make it more nefarious.
When this anime came out, it was laughable — now it’s uncomfortably poignant. But this isn’t a list on social commentary, it’s a list about waifus who want to get plowed like densely packed snow. Since we’re talking about SHIMONETA, you know whose name is about to drop. I mean, is there another thirsty waifu and as … wait for it … legendary as Anna Nishikinomiya?
