The latest addition to the Nekopara franchise, Nekopara Sekai Connect, is set for a Spring 2026 release. As part of the franchise’s tenth-anniversary celebration, Nekopara Sekai Connect will be available as a PC (Steam), Android, and iOS game. Currently, information on the upcoming release is sparse, but we know the new game will debut with new characters. These will include foreign catgirls to diversify the Nekopara universe.
The canceled Yostar-produced mobile game Nekopara Iten! originally planned to feature the new characters. The upcoming game will include an English and simplified Chinese subbed version after its original Japanese release. NEKO WORKs and Good Smile Company will produce Nekopara Sekai Connect. The game’s editorial supervision lands on NEKO WORKs (Sayori, the Nekopara illustrator, founded the doujin circle). Good Smile Company will handle the game’s distribution. Yostar will work alongside NEKO WORKs and Good Smile Company on the game’s promotional activities and publicity. The official Good Smile Company YouTube channel released a trailer featuring “Nekopara Iten,” by Yui Sakakibara, as the game’s opening song.
What’s Nekopara About?
Created by Sayori, Nekopara originally started as a series of R18 visual novels. The VNs follow the Minaduki siblings, Kashou and Shigure. When Kashou leaves the Minaduki to open his pâtisserie, La Soleil, he’s surprised to find two catgirls he lived have stowed away in one of the boxes. While he was initially against the two catgirls lodging with him, as he wanted to be by himself, the kawaii nekos convinced him to let them work and live with him. As the days pass at La Soleil and the trio grow closer, their relationship becomes more intimate.
The Nekopara franchise boasts a manga adaptation, Nekopara: Chocola & Vanilla, plus several visual novels, an OVA, and a twelve-episode Felix Film TV anime. Sekai Connect plans to release NEKOPARA After—La Vraie Famille, a standalone game, this year.
