Meguru’s story turns the notion that psychic cops would uphold peace and enforce justice completely on its head. His sheer psychic abilities rival only his desire to do anything but his job as a police officer. Nao Ippongi is the new rookie transfer to his station, and she sees past all of his immature antics. We’ll see how these two get along when weird and dangerous criminals appear, when Super Psychic Policeman Chojo (Chojun! Chojo Senpai) premieres sometime in October 2026.

Super Psychic Policeman Chojo Cast
The superhuman cop, his new partner, and a deceptively nice gyaru are as follows:

- Meguru Chojo — Yusuke Kobayashi (Dino from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Meguru is a psychic cop with a terrible attitude.
- Nao Ippongi — Riko Aono (Shizuka Mimizuka from Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san). Nao is a skilled judo martial artist who became a cop to protect her home.
- Lily Togari — Kanna Nakamura (Narita Top Road in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby). Lily is a gyaru with a distrust for authority and a fondness for cats.
Arvo Animation maintains a website and a Twitter (X) account to promote Super Psychic Policeman Chojo. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals at those sites.

Super Psychic Policeman Chojo Meets His Match
Rare beings with all sorts of psychic abilities have appeared throughout Japan, and those with talent for the job find positions within law enforcement. However, not all psychics are heroes. Meguru Chojo has fostered a terrible public image due to his poor and immature attitude. The people see him use his powers to cheat at games he plays with kids, or just laze about, and dismiss him as a creep. Meguru’s overindulgence highlights a unique trait among psychics: the more they use their power, the more their hair turns white.

Nao Ippongi has recently been transferred to his station, against her colleagues’ warnings about how awful he is. Her first impression of him is that he uses his power for incredibly silly reasons, like helping a drunk guy remember his phone’s PIN and cheating at a kids’ yo-yo game. Her opinions change when he uses his power to defeat a group of yakuza using the construction crane they brought to destroy her family’s judo dojo. There might just be a kind soul under all of that sarcasm and pettiness.
