September is a strange month. Summer is supposed to be over, but like a hookup with a hangover, it lingers longer than it should. Meanwhile, fall is doing bugger all in the background. But whether the month holds on to heat-filled days or gives way to chilly weather, it’s always the proper time to enjoy some vanilla hentai. And thanks to Pink Pineapple, this September and October we’ll enjoy the anime adaptation of Gen’s Mujikaku na Osananajimi to Kyoumi Honi de Yattemitara.
Studio Seven (Succubus Stayed Life: The Animation, Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time: Super Extra) will animate Mujikaku na Osananajimi to Kyoumi Honi de Yattemitara: The Animation. Pink Pineapple revealed that the adaptation will be a three-episode OVA. The rom-com hentai’s first episode will premiere on September 25. Further episodes will debut sporadically until October 30. The publisher also announced that Satoru Matsuura will direct the anime and provide the storyboard.

Mujikaku na Osananajimi to Kyoumi Honi de Yattemitara’s Deets!
Gen (ENJI) wrote and illustrated Mujikaku na Osananajimi to Kyoumi Honi de Yattemitara. Circle ENJI published the doujin in 2023.

The story follows Hiroki and Meiko, childhood friends who have unlocked the “it’s time for ho-ho-ho-horniness” level of their life. Due to years of platonic intimacy, the two are unusually relaxed around each other. But nature’s call only ever needs a slight trigger to activate its trap card, and in their case it was Meiko’s skimpy loungewear. Hiroki always thought she was attractive, but up close she’s outright seductive. When Meiko notices his lustful gaze, she doesn’t tease him. She invites him to touch. And from there, their naughty touching quickly escalates into full-blown sex!
Mujikaku na Osananajimi will be the second doujin by Gen-sensei to get animated. Studio Shion (Kare no Shiranai Himitsu wo Irete, The Girl in the Library) animated their Sexfriend no Senpai doujin into a two-episode OVA.
