A lot of people disagree with me, but in my opinion, Rudy from Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu is the greatest male MC in anime. The nuance and world-building in Jobless Reincarnation are perfect. The anime doesn’t tell us we’re watching a different world — we witness it. Their morals, daily lives, and societal structures often stray from what we consider “normal.” Those things are what make me and others love Jobless Reincarnation so much, and that’s why I’m so excited to say that the third season will air on July 5th. Mushoku Tensei Deets
The Mushoku Tensei anime adapts the light novel by Rifujin na Magonote (author) and Shirotaka (illustrator). Jobless Reincarnation began as a 2012 self-published web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro. Media Factory acquired the web novel the following year and began publishing under their MF Books imprint. Mushoku Tensei spanned 26 volumes. Media Factory released the final volume in November 2022. Several spin-off stories, as well as manga adaptations and spin-off manga, exist.
Studio Bind animated the first two seasons of Jobless Reincarnation, and they’ll animate the third. And with the stellar work they’ve done with the previous seasons, excellence is assured. Ryosuke Shibuya will direct the anime’s third season, a role he’s reprising from the second season’s second cour. Alongside him, Sanae Shimada and Yoshiaki Fujisawa will also reprise their roles as character designer and music composer. The newly announced and existing production staff include:

The third season of Jobless Reincarnation will adapt material from the 14th volume of the light novel and onward.
Synopsis
At the end of his life, the man now known as Rudeus Greyrat was all the things society abhors — homeless, a pedo, and unemployed. And right as his life hit a new rock bottom, he died in an act of selflessness. But instead of entering the never-ending sleep, Rudeus reincarnated into a fantasy world filled with magic and waifus who love him. Vowing to live a proper life this time, Rudeus fully embraces the gift he’s received. But a normal, happy life is the hardest thing to come by in any world, and soon Rudeus is cast into one survival situation after another. But while things are bleak, they’re not filled with doom. In his new world, Rudy has people he can count on and love. And those two things get people far in life.
