Arisu followed a little-known female announcer back in middle school. She announced her retirement three years ago and removed her entire archive. Arisu uses what little information he has about her — including the fact that they’re in the same grade — to find her. We’ll see if he can find his mystery girl when Tune In to the Midnight Heart (Mayonaka Heart Tune) premieres on January 6th, 2026. The beloved hololive VTuber Suisei Hoshimachi has announced that she will perform the opening theme song “Tsuki ni Mukatte Ute.”
Masakuni Igarashi released the original Tune In to the Midnight Heart manga series on September 20th, 2023. Kodansha has since published ten volumes in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
Tune In to the Midnight Heart Cast
The rich boy on a hunt and two potential announcers are as follows:
- Arisu Yamabuki — Rikuya Yasuda (Gobuemon from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Arisu is an heir to a large financial group.
- Rikka Inohana — Momoko Seto (Gehenna Prefect Team from Blue Archive). Rikka wishes to become a singer.
- Iko Kirino — Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika Ijichi from Bocchi the Rock!). Iko wishes to become a VTuber.

Tune In to the Midnight Heart to Find Apollo
Arisu Yamabuki spent a year listening to Apollo’s midnight broadcast. Though she didn’t have too many listeners, she appreciated Arisu’s presence. Apollo abruptly announced the end of her broadcast to pursue her dream of becoming a voice performer. Arisu was determined to find her in real life to speak to her once again. They were in the same grade, and she gave enough personal information to locate her.
Arisu comes from a powerful family, and he easily gained admission to Furin High School. Furin recently combined the all-boys’ and all-girls’ schools, and it is an ideal location that fits Apollo’s description. He finds his way into the school’s broadcast club, where each of the four girls sounds like Apollo. Not only that, but all four of them want to become professional voice performers. Arisu must determine which one among them is Apollo.
