I’m Dating a Dark Summoner Brings a Questionable Dalliance on October 4

Japan decided that this year we’re not celebrating Halloween. We’re celebrating Hornyween! Fall 2026 is welcoming ecchi anime with gusto, including I’m Dating a Dark Summoner. Deregula revealed an October 4 premiere date and released a visual and trailer to excite horny otaku.

Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru welcomed Akane Nishimura as Haru, the swordswoman who leads Roni and Amona’s party. Maya Yajika will voice the archer elf Fury. The new trailer revealed the anime’s opening and ending themes — COISIO RINGO’s “Zettai Kansei♡Kisei Jijitsu” and Mao Komiya’s “AKUMA♰No?☆Hime♡Goto.”

Deregula had previously announced the leading voice actors for the anime:

• Rei Takano as Amona
• Yuki Nishiyama as Roni
• Senmai Houdentei as Imp

Seiya Miyajima will direct I’m Dating a Dark Summoner. Miyajima will also handle the series composition and scripts. Takahiro Sasaki is the anime’s character designer and chief animation director. Studio AtoriE (GANSO! BanG Dream Chan, Ghost Meets Gyaru) is animating the adaptation alongside Nyan Pollution-ω-.

Like other Deregula titles, Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru will have multiple versions — a censored broadcast version, a slightly censored version (think Mother of Goddess Dormitory with see-through steam), and a “Complete Deregula Version.” In Japan, AnimeFesta will exclusively stream the cultured “Complete Deregula Version.” HIDIVE will stream the anime.

I’m Dating a Dark Summoner — The Horny Deets!

But there’s another problem — a bigger, harder, chunkier problem… His new party member Amona is hot! But Roni knows that the words “I’m dating a dark summoner” can never leave his mouth. So one predicament turns into another, because now he wants that luscious dark summoner booty! But instead of taking the direct route, the two indulge in tsundere-like behavior.

Shaoh writes and illustrates I’m Dating a Dark Summoner. Various Kadokawa outlets, such as Kadocomi and Dra Dra Sharp, have serialized the manga. Kadokawa has compiled the manga into seven volumes.
