Aroma and Aoba make Kouyou’s first week of caretaking hard for him, in more ways than one!
Episode 2 — “What brings you here, Aoba-chan?”
Hmm.
Did you know that the name of the dormitory in Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun is a pun on the main character’s name? The sign on the house said “もみじ荘” (momiji-shou — Momiji Manor), which means “House of the Falling Leaves.” But if you spell “momiji” with kanji, 紅葉, its primary pronunciation is kouyou. That’s the phonetic spelling of Kotesashi-kun’s given name. Yes. Kouyou and the beautiful female athletes live at “his” dormitory. Puns are everywhere in Japanese comedies.

Let’s meet the girls of Kouyou’s House.
- Aroma Kusonoki — Hina Suguta (Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-up Darling). The first-year high school student is the star of the basketball team. She’s a twin-tailed tsundere, as we saw in the first episode.
- Aoba Kitahara — Yuu Serizawa (Mini Yaemori from Rent-a-Girlfriend). The ace of the soccer team is a first-year high school student who only recently returned to Japan from overseas. She’s curious about boys, particularly Kouyou.
- Izumi Sumiyoshi — Saya Aizawa (Norn Greyrat from Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation). The talented swimmer has issues with performance anxiety when she feels pressure from others’ expectations. She’s Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun’s target for an otaku girlfriend because she’s a secret manga artist.
- Chiyo Sayamagaoka — Manatsu Murakami (Komichi Akebi from Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku). The sleepy second-year student is a table tennis star but stays up too late playing video games. Her birthday is on Christmas!
- Miyuki Hongou — Ruriko Aoki (Sirius from Azur Lane). The third-year volleyball player is the calm big sister of the dormitory. She has big eyebrows to match her bigger boobs!
The opening credits for Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun preview each of the girls’ orgasmic massage moments. We already saw Aroma’s first session last week.
First Day, Worst Day
Kouyou starts his dorm caretaker duties immediately. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry. How soon before the accidental peeping and underwear-stealing scenes happen? She’s so mean! Aroma hasn’t forgiven Kouyou for invading the all-female space yet. Plus, he “felt her up all over.” But didn’t the pervy groping “loosen” her up? I’ll bet it did! Aoba would rather not hear Aroma yelling so loudly at the breakfast table.
Here we go. How will Kouyou handle the girls’ laundry in Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun? I see a lot of team uniforms and no underwear. That’s one exception from his laundry duties, but who washes them, then? Kouyou had asked Miyuki about Aoba and Aroma’s irritation with each other. That’s only an excuse for someone to give us Aoba’s backstory through dialogue. The girls have a rivalry of sorts because Aroma spent middle school earning awards and recognition. But Aoba played with overseas soccer clubs before returning to Japan for high school.
Court is in Session for Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun
Uh oh. The basketball player put a pair of panties in her sports gear laundry. And Izumi caught Kouyou holding them! And she led him straight to Aroma! How likely is it that she’ll listen reasonably to Kouyou’s chain of events? How about zero? Is zero good for you?
Ugh. Kouyou found a stinky disaster of a room. The mess suggests the room belongs to a shut-in gamer NEET, but none of the girls fit that mold. Ack! Something’s alive in there! Oh. It’s Chiyo. She’s a flirty tease. And it’s more fodder for Aroma’s ire. Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun collects evidence for Kouyou’s (imaginary) future firing.
Ah. Now we know how the other caretakers only lasted one day at Momiji Manor. Aroma always calls a house trial to kick them out. Aroma laid out the charges, but every one of them was an accident or someone else’s fault. Peeping, sexual harassment, panty theft, and sexual assault? Laziest assertion of molestation, ever. Aoba rejected all of them! The panties were Aroma’s fault, and Kouyou tripped over Chiyo’s garbage. Aoba must have an angle, though. Whoa. Aroma apologized, but it looked like she stepped on a Lego block.
Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun Flirts with Rejection
Aha. Here’s Aoba’s payback. Night missions! Oh. Aoba also desires friendship and conversation. Boring! She explains that she came to Japan from Spain, so she wants to make new friends. Kouyou could be one! You don’t need to take your shirt off to convince him, though. Oops. Disappointed face. Aoba must have thought Kouyou’s claims of massage skill were only a pretense. She’ll find out.
Oh no. Kouyou’s “talent” for telling a person’s weight by looking at them is one he should keep to himself in front of women. I sense a pattern for Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun. Lay hands, produce a squealing orgasm. Spladoosh! Aoba needs a moment. Or several. She wonders why Kouyou didn’t freak out at a topless woman throwing herself at him. He comes from a family of massage therapists. Duh.
The end credits hint at happier endings than, uh, happy endings you find in a strip mall massage parlor.
