The Gentleman Within, From Bureaucrat to Villainess
Kenzaburo Tondabayashi is a 52-year-old Japanese civil servant, a loving father and husband, and a lifelong otaku. He has a particular affinity for transforming heroes. Kenzaburo’s a good man and an exemplary employee and no one should complain about his hobbies or his dad jokes. His ordinary life is interrupted when he pushes a child out of the way of a speeding truck.
Kenzaburo awakens as Grace Auvergne the noblewoman villainess of the otome game Magical Academy: Love & Beast. Grace fell while riding her horse and recovered her/his memories as Kenzaburo. He now has control over her body, magic, and memories. However, he doesn’t know much about otome games or isekai scenarios. It’s fortunate then that his wife and daughter can help him by watching the game play on their TV while his comatose body rests in the hospital. Kenzaburo now works to avoid any death flags while behaving like a proper noble student at magic school.
