November understandably occupies Japanese internet mindshare. No, not for No-Nut-November. No, not for Movember and mustaches for men’s health issues. Why? Because the number 11 looks like the word いい (ii — good) in Japanese, which makes pictographic puns easy to generate. One such punny holiday is いいおっぱいの日 (ii oppai no hi), which translates to Good Oppai Day because the letter for eight (八) looks like the katakana ハ, which has the hiragana は. And then you can make breasts out of that for a punny, sexy hashtag. Boobs for the win! Many internet denizens celebrate Good Oppai Day by sharing art, GIFs, memes, and cosplay pictures. But you could also binge a booby anime to show your support for the mammaries. And Wajutsushi is the fall anime that has your back by uncovering a lead character’s front.
Why not Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister and Yae’s inadequate flying buttress holding back her breastwork? Or watching any character not named Wendy in Fairy Tail? No, no. The anime with a long title, short nickname, and big boobs in your face is the perfect anime for Good Oppai Day. Wajutsushi (Saikyou no Shien-shoku [Wajutsushi] Dearu Ore wa Sekai Saikyou Clan wo Shitagaeru, The Most Notorious “Talker” Runs the World’s Greatest Clan) features my favorite new character in the fall season. Alma Judikhali is a tanned waifu with a big sister attitude and bigger breasts.
Every Day is a Good Oppai Day in Wajutsushi
- What is Wajutsushi about? The story of The Most Notorious Talker started on a self-publishing site infamous for hilariously lengthy titles. The typical wish-fulfillment fantasy RPG setting revenge plot follows a character in a support class becoming the most effective whatever in his world. I played a Bard once in Neverwinter Nights. That didn’t work out so well. The buff
Bard(ahem) “Talker” assembles a newparty(er) “clan” to avenge his grandfather’s demise. Alma (a tan big booby assassin and his first new clan member) treats him like her little brother.
- Who’s in it?
- Alma Judikhali — Yuu Serizawa (Valentina Azuma from Goddess Café Terrace, another tan big booby girl). The assassin granddaughter of the second most fearsome character in Wajutsushi (the first was the Bard’s, ahem, Talker’s grandfather) sought “Over Death,” the famous warrior that defeated her grandfather in personal combat. Treating Over Death’s grandson as her adorable little brother tickles her so much. She also loves pressing her impressive mammaries in the lead character’s face. Having her around gives you a Good Oppai Day.
- Noel Stollen — Daiki Yamashita (Naoto Hachiouji from Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro). Noel’s grandfather, Brandon Stollen, had the reputation as the highest level “Seeker” (what this anime’s world calls adventurers). Noel’s innate class is the Talker, a supporter class that buffs and debuffs others but can’t cast spells to affect himself. His grandfather’s harsh physical training turned him into a muscular specimen with a girlish face.
- Where can I watch it? Wajutsushi (The Most Notorious Talker) streams on Crunchyroll in Japanese audio with multiple language subtitles.
Jump to the Third Episode of this Revenge Fantasy Plot in Wajutsushi
Revenge might be a dish best served cold, but it has recently become a common anime adaptation theme. Besides Wajutsushi this season, we have Loner Life in Another World, and we had Failure Frame last season. Wajutsushi follows Loner Life’s steps by focusing on slice-of-life elements in building the world’s setting. But Wajutsushi uses its first two episodes frivolously to introduce Noel, why he needs to form a new clan, and how ruthless he can be. The anime shows everything we need to know through flashbacks after the third episode. And it effectively displays Noel’s paranoid distrust of other people and his brutally decisive actions against them. We didn’t need to see how Noel took revenge on his previous clan members after he stuck his thumb in a client’s eye. Plus, the third episode introduced the best reason to watch. That was a Good Oppai Day!
Wajutsushi’s third episode reintroduced Noel as an experienced Seeker and how well he associated with other Seekers. The first five minutes demonstrated that the first two episodes were entirely superfluous. So, I encourage you to skip them and jump to the third episode. You will lose nothing. But you will gain time reaching Alma’s debut as quickly as possible. The big booby, tanned waifu onee-san’s outfit accents her thicc thighs and barely containable underboob.
Fanservice for Everyone and a Weekly Good Oppai Day
Even though Wajutsushi touts itself as an action-oriented, gritty adventure, it’s not. Noel and Alma are the two most capable Seekers in the show. Their respective grandfathers, as a warrior and an assassin, were also the top-ranked in the world during their era. What does that mean? No tension in any fight scene. Those scenes only act as vehicles for our characters to deliver hot takes and hero poses. Violence joining the cutesy scenes for slice-of-life elements is an odd dynamic for an adventure anime. Because lead characters feel no risk in any situation, another common aspect of these self-published wish-fulfillment revenge fantasies, these self-described action animes become fanservice slice-of-life vehicles. And that’s a good thing when Alma makes every episode a Good Oppai Day!
However, your only task each week for Wajutsushi is to measure how much cringe you can take before Alma smushes her boobs into Noel’s face. Also, Noel’s apparent bishounen face makes him a target for sexual advances from men who confuse his extra-long masculine eyelashes for a woman’s. That usually ends with the offending man receiving a Magnum .44 stuck in his mouth. I’m sure it’s not a metaphor for Noel figuratively establishing his dominance in a non-homosexual way. I’m sure!
Thankfully, Wajutsushi usually washes the gay away from your eyeballs with a quick transition to Alma, her underboob, and comparing the jiggliness to tasty, sweet pudding. As I’ve previously said, every weekly appearance is a Good Oppai Day.
