If every month started like this one, every morning would be joyous. After months of speculation and rumors, it’s official — Chained Soldier will get a third season! The anime’s staff announced at a special event held last Sunday in Japan. Alongside that news, Mato Seihei no Slave‘s production team also released an announcement video and a visual. However, they did not release any information on the upcoming anime’s production staff, studio, additional VAs, or premiere date. But if we use the time between the first (2024) and second (2026) season’s release, we’re in for a two-year wait.

Chained Soldier Details
Takahiro writes the Mato Seihei no Slave web manga, and Yohei Takemura illustrates it. Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ online platform has serialized Chained Soldier since January 2019. Yen Press publishes the English version of the manga. Mato Seihei no Slave has been adapted into two TV anime seasons, the first by Studio Seven Arcs and the second by Passione and Hayabusa Film.
If truck-kun can send you to another world, then that world can send things here. That often overlooked fact is the key plot point in Chained Soldier.
Throughout his life, Yuuki Wakura has lived with the fact that monstrous creatures randomly appear in his town. After all, it’s been decades since magical portals opened across Japan, allowing things called Shuuki to slip through and terrorize the populace. Yuuki can’t fight those creatures, and that has filled his life with a resentful acceptance. But when Yuuki finds himself transported into the world that lies beyond those portals, his life is never the same. Not only did he witness the true horrors of Mato’s mystical world, but he also defeated several Shuuki with the help of the Demon Defense Force.
But his help came at a cost; his participation in the battle makes him a soldier, a chained soldier, one who fights under his master’s whim. But there’s more to Yuuki’s life than a battlefield. His master needs to reward his fights. And often, those rewards are LEWD!
