Cute anime cheerleaders are always entertaining to watch. There is much to appreciate when girls dance in short skirts while waving pompoms. The cheerleaders of Narenare Cheer for You! take their work very seriously. We’ll see how these girls do when this anime series premieres on July 7th, 2024. Let’s enjoy the new trailer until then.
Kodai Kakimoto, Yuniko Ayana, and Midori Goto created this original Narenare Cheer for You! anime series for DMM.com and P.A. Works.
Three of our lovely cheerleaders are as follows:
- Kanata Misora — Rika Nakagawa (Momiji Ito from Shine Post). She was inspired to become a cheerleader after watching a routine at a young age.
- Anna Aveiro — Larissa Tago Takeda (Hisui (baby) from Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon). She is half-Japanese and was raised in her native Brazil. Anna uses capoeira in her routines and self-defense.
- Megumi Kaionji — Miku Ito (Frenika from Sword Art Online: Alicization). She was formerly the captain of her junior high school’s cheerleader team. An incident at a competition left her hospitalized. Megumi now undergoes rehabilitation so she can keep a particular promise to Kanata.

Cheer Loud With Narenare Cheer for You!
Kanata was inspired to become a cheerleader when she was a little girl. The stellar performance that unfolded before her — and the kind cheerleader who gave her a pair of pompoms — cemented her goal to cheer. When she grew up, Kanata began to attend Takanosaki High School in Gunma, a school known for winning cheerleading championships. She suffered a slight injury in middle school during a cheerleading competition that cost her the ability to jump, but her dream lives on.
Kanata’s dreams reach a like-minded group of girls who have their own ways of traversing the world. From parkour to capoeira and yoga, these girls can do it all. Takanosaki High School’s PoMPoMs will cheer their loudest and let their hearts resonate with others.
