Anime production company Silver Link has been knocking it out of the park these last few years with high-fantasy anime adventures like BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense and Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody. Back in April, the studio announced that it would be tackling yet another action-packed fantasy series by adapting the light novel series Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen by Kei Sazane and Ao Nekonabe. The anime adaptation, titled Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, was initially announced with no premiere date. Now, though, we’ve gotten word that the show will be airing this October.
News of the October premiere for Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World came alongside the release of a new trailer for the show on its official website. The trailer gives us a sneak peek at the ending song for the anime, “Koori no Torikago” (Cage of Ice). The song is performed by Sora Amamiya as her character Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX. We also get a look at some of the following newly announced characters and cast members in the new trailer:

- Nao Shiraki as Mismis Klass
- Shunichi Toki as Jhin Syulargun
- Yumiri Hanamori as Rin Vispose

Yen Press publishes the original light novels, as well as their manga adaptation, in English, and describes the story as follows:

Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is being directed by Shin Oonuma and Mirai Minato. Oonuma previously worked on BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense., ef: a tale of memories, Dusk maiden of Amnesia, and WATAMOTE, while the latter previously worked on BOFURI, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Masamune-kun’s Revenge, and Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou. Series script supervision on Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is being handled by Kento Shimoyama, who previously worked on Death March to The Parallel World Rhapsody, Good Luck Girl!, Servant × Service, and The Ones Within. Kaori Sato, previously a staff member on BOFURI, Dusk maiden of Amnesia, Masamune-kun’s Revenge, and Shomin Sample, is the character designer and chief animation director.
