Though one might anticipate cool weather to start as October rolls in, the lingering effects of climate change mean that the last remnants of summer often persist well into mid-fall. Having been born in the tropics and experiencing several fall seasons in Chicago, I can confidently say that summer sucks. It’s hot, everything sticks to you, and mosquitoes reign supreme. I’m not the only one who thinks that Maxcute’s End of Summer JK Shoujo figure agrees with my sentiments.
Summer Gave Us the End of Summer JK Shoujo Figure, So We Can’t Hate It Too Much
The figure (coming from Leviathan’s original illustration) features a lovely JK Shoujo desperately trying to beat the heat. The figure captures the moment when heat-fatigued JK removes her booty shorts, lifting her shirt over her breasts as an ice pop drips slowly down. With an exasperated facial expression and a shirt damp with sweat, she looks infuriated that her fan doesn’t work.
The designers stylized the base of the End of Summer JK Shoujo figure to mimic an apartment’s hardwood floor. The included prop extension cord and disconnected fan blissfully add to her annoyance. Her black G-string and bra perfectly contrast with her gorgeous porcelain skin. Her thigh highs pinch the top of her legs so seductively. She meticulously places the drip of ice cream, allowing it to flow down her chest and pool between her legs.
Sculpted by Taomujing and painted by Cha Duo Zhu Zhu, the figure retails for $190. The paintwork makes the ABS/PVC figure come alive as her hair dazzles with auburn, coffee, mahogany, and chestnut hues. Her eyes are a wonder all their own. They’re vibrant with shades and colors that mirror a magenta-filled sunset. Can you imagine how it must feel to see your reflection in eyes that beautiful? And even with such little clothes on, her fashion sense shows through her bell-paired bow.
I wouldn’t do this figure justice without mentioning how sin-inducing its side profiles are. With curves and peaks that mimic the Alps, the side view of the figure is as inspiring as the view from a 14er.
