Hazano Kazutake’s fantasy romance comedy manga Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence will be receiving a TV anime, as announced last year. It has now been revealed that the anime will begin broadcasting sometime in April, 2023. They have also released a new key visual and promotional video that reveals additional cast members from the previously announced lead cast.

Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence manga debuted in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine R in April 2017, the series is also being published digitally in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app and has compiled 11 volumes to date. The English publication is being released by Kodansha USA Publishing.

Saint Cecilia is beloved by the townspeople — not only is she elegant and composed, she benevolently shares her wisdom with all who seek it. That is, until the last person has left — at which point she becomes totally hopeless! Only Pastor Lawrence is keeping the Saint together enough to do her duties… and though she may test him, it’s all in a day’s work!
