By all accounts, temperatures this summer will be hot enough to melt your prized Nekopara figures. Yet despite the incoming scorching nights, the summer 2026 anime season will be quite tepid. With over 50 shows airing in the coming weeks, you’d think ecchi aficionados would get a few to choose from. But no. You heathens worship at the altar of Eris instead of joining the Axis Faith. So Aqua-sama has punished you for your misdeeds by taking away your horny anime.
Of all the anime that’s coming this season, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is the only one with an “ecchi” tag. There are a few hentai and erotica titles, but I can’t help but feel robbed. Here’s what we can look forward to.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season III
When someone asks me who my favorite protagonist is or what my favorite fantasy anime is, the answer is always Rudy and Jobless Reincarnation. Few anime are as polarizing as Jobless Reincarnation. And with the return of the show’s third season on July 4, more controversy is on its way. Mushoku Tensei is one of my top recommendations because of its controversies. Much like Cassian in Andor, Rudy may be the “good guy” in the story, but the moniker of a “good person” does not fit. Rudy’s flaws are what shape the story. If you haven’t watched the first two seasons of the anime, go and binge them. You’re in for a spectacle, not to mention SSR-level waifus.
KAMUI: He’s Behind Me — A Spooky, Horny Summer 2026 Anime
Fall is the year’s spooky season. And I understand why. After all, Halloween, Día de los Muertos, and Samhain all take place in October and November. Plus, there’s the bonus that with all the dead trees (in the upper Northern Hemisphere), fall looks dreary. But I always thought the restless nights of summer were more conducive to the paranormal. Most people would disagree with me, but KAMUI: He’s Behind Me is a summer 2026 anime that’s on my side.
Nowadays, horror and horniness aren’t genres commonly associated with each other. But as a fan of B-grade 80’s movies, I can tell you, this was the norm. Thankfully, Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san is coming on July 4 to revive that tradition.
KAMUI: He’s Behind You follows the ghost-busting duo of renowned psychic Kamui and the busty JK Shizuka. With Shizuka attracting ghosts and ghouls and Kamui using his pocket rocket to lay them to rest, this summer 2026 anime will be one of the raunchiest horrors of the past decade. Hopefully, the episodes last more than a few minutes.

My Classmate’s a Sexy Actress, and Now We Live Together, and Ill-Advised Summer Issues
I’m prone to depression, and cooler weather always exacerbates it. Well, it’s not the cold itself, but rather its clear skies. The bluer the sky, the more wanderlust I have. And the more wanderlust I have, the more the noose calls. So, I can assure you that seasons play a role in our mental well-being and decisions. Summer, for example, leads to more spontaneous decisions. Summer is when we want to experience life! That’s why it’s so fitting that My Classmate’s a Sexy Actress airs during the 2026 summer anime season.
Finding out that your sexy classmate gets stuffed like a turducken in adult videos and then confronting her about it screams “ill-advised summer decisions.” But like many “ill-advised summer decisions,” what was a horrendous faux pas in the moment brings rewards later on. Ryosuke Kamiya can vouch for that. When he asked his sexy classmate if she was a porn actress, instead of a slap, he got a new roommate who wants nothing more than his love and dick.
Technically, My Classmate’s a Sexy Actress, and Now We Live Together?! is the only monogamous sexy rom-com of the summer 2026 anime season. Hyakkano will definitely bring ecchiness and fan service in a loving environment, but it’s a harem. And when you think about it, ecchi monogamous shows are a rare occurrence.
All versions of My Classmate’s a Sexy Actress premiere on July 5. But the first episode is already out!
