Shueisha will release To Love Ru Parade, a new volume of the ecchi masterpiece, on October 2. The announcement comes after Jump Giga published a 25-page To Love Ru one-shot as part of the franchise’s 20th anniversary celebration.
The upcoming volume will consist of uncompiled chapters of To Love Ru and To Love Ru Darkness.

The To Love Ru Franchise!
There are a great many magnificent things that exist solely because of spite or pushing boundaries — To Love Ru is one of them. Where most authors and illustrators try not to conflict with their publisher’s rules, Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki took the opposite approach. They gleefully poked and prodded Weekly Shonen Jump’s willingness to accept ecchier works. That’s something that would usually end with reprimands, but in the case of To Love Ru, it worked! The franchise became a cornerstone of ecchi media.
Weekly Shonen Jump published the original To Love Ru manga from April 2006 to August 2009. Shueisha compiled the manga into 18 tankobon volumes, then into a 10-volume bunkoban edition. Jump Square serialized the sequel manga To Love Ru Darkness between October 2010 and March 2017. Shueisha once again released the series via tankobon and bunkoban volumes. Saki Hasemi wrote both manga while Kentaro Yabuki illustrated them.
To Love Ru follows Rito Yuuki, a dude who, despite being madly infatuated, can’t confess his feelings to his crush. And that proves problematic, as even though he’s in love, he’s technically single. So when a tailed, naked alien magically appears in his bathroom and says she’ll marry him, Rito’s half-heartedness makes him the perfect prey.
