Censorship is nothing new to most people for it has specific reasons for them to be implemented. However, sometimes TV networks tend to go overboard on this. The Philippines is just one of those countries.
Recently a Filipino Twitter user @uwucliffe shared a screenshot from My Hero Academia which was aired in ABS-CBN, a popular TV network in the Philippines. You can obviously see that they blurred out Yaoyorozu Momo’s chest. Although the character does show some skin, it does not reach the point that it is lewd or completely inappropriate. Netizens were all in mixed opinions about this censorship, mostly saying that this intentional blur is just a bit too much.

The first season of the My Hero Academia anime began airing in the said network on April 7 every Sunday morning dubbed in Filipino. The first two seasons (dubbed in Filipino) made its first premiere in May last year in the Philippine channel YeY, also owned by ABS-CBN. It was then re-aired on the same channel last November.
My Hero Academia is based on the popular manga series of the same name created by Kohei Horikoshi. The manga was officially launched in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 and still ongoing. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in Japan in 2016, followed by its second season in 2017, then third in 2018. The fourth season is currently in the works and will premiere in October this year.
