Deku and his friends never really slowed down after their final war against the villains. Bakugo has his own hero agency, Deku is a teacher, and Shoto has become the No. 2 Pro Hero in the world. Class 1-A is reuniting in grand fashion to celebrate their friend’s achievement. As they gather and talk about their present, two heroes look toward the future together. We’ll see these grown-up heroes in action when My Hero Academia: More (Boku no Hero Academia) premieres on May 2nd, 2026.

Kohei Horikoshi released the original My Hero Academia manga series between July 7th, 2014, and August 5th, 2024. Shueisha published all 42 volumes in Weekly Shonen Jump. Studio Bones’ anime adaptation premiered on April 3rd, 2016.
My Hero Academia Cast
Three of the titular school’s top heroes are as follows:
- Izuku “Deku” Midoriya — Daiki Yamashita (Naoto Hachioji from Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro). Izuku is an idealistic young man who dreamed of becoming a hero.
- Ochaco Uraraka — Ayane Sakura (Orio from Pokémon Horizons: The Series). Ochaco is a kind young woman and a firm ally to Izuku.
- Momo Yaoyorozu — Marina Inoue (Tohka Yatogami from Date A Live). Momo is one of the beauties who dresses in revealing hero costumes.

My Hero Academia: More Marches Forward
Deku and his friends continue their lives eight years after winning the war that ensured the world’s survival. An age of peace descended upon the land, giving the heroes time to shine both on and off the battlefield. Ochaco assists with Quirk Counseling sessions, which help young people figure out their powers. She confides her troubles to Tsuyu after one such session. Ochacho has been seeing Himiko in her dreams for the past month, and wonders if a part of Himiko now lives inside her.
Across town, Bakugo drives Deku and Eijiro to a certain party. Katsuki discusses his hero agency while Deku assures his friends that he’s happy to be a teacher, Quirk or no Quirk. The former Class 1-A students are gathering to celebrate Shoto’s rise to No. 2 Pro Hero in the rankings. As friends laugh and cheer, Deku sneaks off to speak with Ochaco.
