Magical Mirai 2019 Design Revealed!

The official design for this year’s Magical Mirai has been revealed! Every year, Magical Mirai debuts a unique design that captures the hearts of Vocaloid fans all over the world. This year’s design is drawn by the wonderful ni02, showing off Miku’s jazzy side. With a costume that makes use of the contrasting black and white colors, as well as head accessories that include what looks like bunny ear headpieces and a top hat, Hatsune Miku looks ready to jam!

Magical Mirai is a concert celebrating the birthday of Hatsune Miku, which is on August 31st. This year’s Magical Mirai is a series of Vocaloid concerts that span over the course of 5 days, with two days of concerts in Osaka at the Intex Osaka Building, and three days of concerts in Tokyo at Makuhari Messe. Tickets are now on pre-sale for the lottery to have a chance to win either a ticket or a pair of tickets to attend. The Osaka tickets are on sale from 4/15 12:00PM – 5/13 11:59 PM JST for the dates of 8/10 – 8/11, and the Tokyo tickets are on sale from the same time for the dates of 8/30 – 9/1.

Need some help with lodging? There are accommodation plans for both domestic and foreign attendees, both for Osaka and for Tokyo on sale from 4/7 12:00PM – 5/7 12:00PM JST. An accommodation plan purchase will guarantee a concert live ticket, so if you’re worried about not being able to win the lottery and you need a place to crash after the concert, this is a good option!
