Final exams are stressful enough when you understand the subject. Taking a magic exam without knowing a single spell sounds like an expensive way to fail. MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES (マッシュル-MASHLE-) takes that problem into an elite interschool competition when MASHLE Season 3 arrives in January 2027. Apparently, the admissions department still hasn’t closed the bodybuilding loophole.
J-List has not one, but two new offers for you! First, we’re running an 18% sale on all books and magazines, including all hentai manga and doujinshi from Japan, and all sexy JAV photo books. Both sales end November 11th.
MASHLE Season 3 Turns the Final Exam Into a Flex-Off
Mash Burnedead can’t use magic. He wants to become a Divine Visionary, so he and his family can live safely in a society that persecutes people without magical ability. He’s made it through magic school and its candidate-selection tests through extraordinary strength. MASHLE Season 3 brings him to the final competition.
The full title is MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES The Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc. Three elite magic schools compete to determine the next Divine Visionary. Innocent Zero remains an active threat during this stage of Mash’s journey. MASHLE Season 3 puts the magical establishment’s grading standards under serious pressure. Does punching through the assignment count as showing your work?
A-1 Pictures Brings the Core Crew Back
MASHLE Season 3 brings back the five principal performers. Somebody needs to witness the property damage.
Cast
- Chiaki Kobayashi — Mash Burnedead, a magicless Divine Visionary candidate whose muscles do the spellcasting.
- Reiji Kawashima — Finn Ames, Mash’s roommate and the straight man stuck watching his physical nonsense.
- Kaito Ishikawa — Lance Crown, a top student with powerful magic and a weakness for keeping things tidy.
- Takuya Eguchi — Dot Barrett, a loudmouthed classmate who hates handsome guys and loves the ladies.
- Reina Ueda — Lemon Irvine, Mash’s devoted admirer with an overactive romantic imagination.
Staff
- Original creator — Hajime Koumoto
- Director — Tomonari Tanaka
- Series composition/screenplay — Yousuke Kuroda
- Character design — Chiaki Furuzumi
- Music — Masaru Yokoyama
- Animation production — A-1 Pictures
MASHLE Season 3 keeps the production team largely intact. Chiaki Furuzumi takes over character design from Hisashi Higashijima. The anime adapts Hajime Koumoto’s completed, 18-volume manga, officially available in English from VIZ. The new designer inherits a boy whose solution to most problems is another set of reps. Your bookshelf can handle the homework.
J-List Has Been Training for This Exam
J-List’s “Mashle New Season Fights for Divine Visionary” previously covered the continuation and its final-exam arc. The January window gives MASHLE Season 3 a calendar appointment. Our Season 2 creampuff post explained the Divine Visionary hierarchy Mash wants to enter.
The initial first-season feature, “MASHLE: Muscular Harry Potter & One-Punch Man Mash-up,” had me sold when Mash slapped away a spell. His muscle-powered broom flight helped seal the deal. MASHLE Season 3 gives that glorious lunacy another exam to wreck. HBO’s new Harry Potter TV series could save everyone some wand practice by adding a squat rack to Hogwarts.
Where and When to Watch MASHLE Season 3
MASHLE Season 3 begins broadcasting in Japan in January 2027. Crunchyroll will stream it worldwide, excluding Japan and China, with non-exclusive rights in Southeast Asia and exclusive rights in India. The episode count, subtitle availability, and dub plans haven’t been announced. Exact TV and streaming schedule details are still pending.
Get Your Reps In: MASHLE Season 3 puts Divine Visionary status within punching distance. An exam full of magical prodigies sounds like a fine place for Mash to make spellcasting look unnecessarily complicated. Bring cream puffs. This could take some effort.
