What Did You Learn From Anime? Real-Life Lessons Anime Teaches Us

What I Learned From Anime

We all became anime fans for different reasons. Maybe we were attracted to giant robots, or the epic battles, or the cute stories about idols. Or… let’s be honest, it might have been the sexy fanservice that first caught our attention and pulled us in.

But we soon learned there was more to anime than the amazing fight scenes and adorable characters to obsess over. Anime could be downright uplifting! We could get motivated to hit the gym thanks to How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, or take inspiration to learn how to play guitar from K-On! It’s fun to think of all the things we can learn from anime!

Anime Life Lessons | Boobs Aren't Fat

Boobs aren’t fat. They’re filled with the hopes and dreams of men. The more you think about this, the more real it becomes. [Oda Nobuna no Yabou]

What I learned from anime: that drinking milk makes your chest bigger

And if you want to have bigger boobs, you need to drink lots of milk. Anime doesn’t lie about such things. [A Certain Magical Index]

Sailor Moon Date Etiquette

What anime taught me: always wear clean underwear on a date. Just in case, you know… [Sailor Moon]

What Anime Taught Me | Why Adults Drink Alcohol

There’s a good reason adults are allowed to drink alcohol, and children aren’t. [Madoka Magica]

Being An Adult Sure Is Hard Meme

I also learned that being an adult sure is hard. [Shinryaku!? Ika Musume]

What I Learned From Anime | Life Isn't Candy And Rainbows It's Salty, Like Turkey! Meme

Because life isn’t candy and rainbows. It can be salty, like turkey! Though I happen to like turkey. [The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato]

Are camera angles in anime getting weirder? Read this blog post next!

What Have You Learned From Anime? Monogatari Series

Anime has taught me that the past is merely the past, and there’s no value in overcoming it or catching up to it. And The Lion King taught me that we should put our past in our behinds.

Even More Anime Life Lessons!

Move Well Study Well Play Well Eat Well Dragon Ball Meme

My anime life lesson: move well, study well, play well, eat well, and rest well. And take a nap every day. [Dragon Ball]

More anime life lessons: How To Tie Your Shoes Properly.

I learned how to tie my shoes properly when hiking in the mountains! [Yama no Susume.]

She Can't Get Pregnant If She Isn't Real

If you want to avoid getting your girl pregnant, just stick to 2D girls. We’ve got some great ones in stock for you here!

To build a fire, just use pinecones! (Konnichiwa!)

I also learned that in order to start a fire, I should use pinecones (who will say konnichiwa! to me). [Yuru Camp]

Broccoli And Cauliflower, Which One Is Green? anime life lessons

Another important anime life lesson: knowing your vegetable colors can be really important. [Higurashi When They Cry]

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou and Snake Cloacas

I learned that snakes have cloacas instead of vaginas. Which makes sense, I guess, since all animals except mammals have them.

Pink Haired Anime Waifu Meme

Also, only pink-haired seasonal waifus will still be remembered long after their anime season ends.

I'm Not Naked I'm Wearing Knee Socks Meme

Finally, I’ve learned that a girl isn’t really naked if she’s got thigh-high knee-socks on. This is such useful information to know! [Seireitsukai no Blade Dance.]
