What Did You Learn From Anime? Real-Life Lessons Anime Teaches Us
We all became anime fans for different reasons. Maybe we were attracted to giant robots, or the epic battles, or the cute stories about idols. Or… let’s be honest, it might have been the sexy fanservice that first caught our attention and pulled us in.
But we soon learned there was more to anime than the amazing fight scenes and adorable characters to obsess over. Anime could be downright uplifting! We could get motivated to hit the gym thanks to How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, or take inspiration to learn how to play guitar from K-On! It’s fun to think of all the things we can learn from anime!
Boobs aren’t fat. They’re filled with the hopes and dreams of men. The more you think about this, the more real it becomes. [Oda Nobuna no Yabou]
And if you want to have bigger boobs, you need to drink lots of milk. Anime doesn’t lie about such things. [A Certain Magical Index]
What anime taught me: always wear clean underwear on a date. Just in case, you know… [Sailor Moon]
There’s a good reason adults are allowed to drink alcohol, and children aren’t. [Madoka Magica]
I also learned that being an adult sure is hard. [Shinryaku!? Ika Musume]
Because life isn’t candy and rainbows. It can be salty, like turkey! Though I happen to like turkey. [The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato]
Are camera angles in anime getting weirder? Read this blog post next!
Anime has taught me that the past is merely the past, and there’s no value in overcoming it or catching up to it. And The Lion King taught me that we should put our past in our behinds.
Even More Anime Life Lessons!
My anime life lesson: move well, study well, play well, eat well, and rest well. And take a nap every day. [Dragon Ball]
I learned how to tie my shoes properly when hiking in the mountains! [Yama no Susume.]
If you want to avoid getting your girl pregnant, just stick to 2D girls. We’ve got some great ones in stock for you here!
I also learned that in order to start a fire, I should use pinecones (who will say konnichiwa! to me). [Yuru Camp]
Another important anime life lesson: knowing your vegetable colors can be really important. [Higurashi When They Cry]
I learned that snakes have cloacas instead of vaginas. Which makes sense, I guess, since all animals except mammals have them.
Also, only pink-haired seasonal waifus will still be remembered long after their anime season ends.
Finally, I’ve learned that a girl isn’t really naked if she’s got thigh-high knee-socks on. This is such useful information to know! [Seireitsukai no Blade Dance.]
