Company 8 Becomes Public Enemy No. 1 in Fire Force Season 3

Atsushi Ohkubo’s Fire Force anime adaptation is ready to heat things up again. The public and government label the heroes from Company 8 as enemies. With few friends they can rely on, they are ready to face the empire. The fates of their captain and the entire world hang in the balance. We’ll see Shinra and his friends take to the battlefield when Fire Force Season 3 premieres sometime in April 2025. The upcoming two cours will finish the Stigma arc and begin the Obi’s Rescue arc.

Atsushi Ohkubo released the original Fire Force manga series between September 23rd, 2015, and February 22nd, 2022. Kodansha published all 34 volumes in Weekly Shonen Magazine. David Production’s anime adaptation premiered on July 6th, 2019.

Three of our firefighters are as follows:

Shinra Kusakabe — Gakuto Kajiwara (Hitohito Tadano from Komi Can’t Communicate). The Fire Soldier Second-Class joined the Company to uncover the cause of his family’s death.
Tamaki Kotatsu — Aoi Yuki (Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). A nun who has trained in the Holy Sol Temple joined Shinra’s Company after an altercation with someone she once admired.
Maki Oze — Saeko Kamijo (Haruka Kamijou from Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Sevens). This Tokyo army soldier joined the Company to fight the Infernals.

Fire Force Burns Away Evil

The Tokyo Empire rose from the ashes of a scorched world. It took a century of hard work to make a comfortable society where people can live peacefully. This peace has recently come to a burning end. A mysterious, spontaneous human combustion has ripped through the populace. Innocent people burn away to form the monstrous Infernals. The government forms eight specialized companies with pyrokinetic abilities to hunt down the Infernals and uncover the truth of these tragedies.

Recently, Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki sought further training from Benimaru as Company 8 investigated Konro’s link to the White Clad. Afterward, authorities arrest Captain Obi and brand Company 8 members as traitors. Shinra and the others must face the entire empire to save their captain.
