Harem girls don’t show up too much in anime or manga. Those sheer and loose outfits that gently sway with each movement are iconic. As much as we cultured otaku love swimsuits and bunny suits, harem outfits are just as great. Let’s show some of those harem girls the love they deserve.
1. Rias Gremory (High School DxD)
Rias is known for her sexy body and equally sexy costumes. A harem outfit suits her very well when she dances. It’s also a perfect outfit since she approves of her lover building a personal harem. If Issei forms a harem full of harem girls, he’ll take the title of luckiest harem protagonist in history.
Ichiei Ishibumi and Miyama-Zero worked on the original light novel from September 20th, 2008, to March 20th, 2018. Fujimi Shobo published all 25 volumes and four short stories in Dragon Magazine.
2. Erola Suppaatoka (Labyrinth of Flames)
Erola is a bandit who uses sensual dancing and thin wires to defeat her opponents. Though she’s mute, this harem girl speaks perfectly with her body.
Katsuhiko Nishijima directed the Labyrinth of Flames OVA for Studio Fantasia from September 25th, 2000, to December 21st, 2000.
3. Amy (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet)
Amy serves as both a delivery girl and a harem dancer. She is a bubbly and fun girl who quickly falls in love with Ledo. We can only imagine if she gives him private performances.
Kazuya Murata (Code Geass, To Heart, Pokémon Chronicles) directed the thirteen-episode Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet anime for Production I.G from April 7th, 2013, to June 30th, 2013.
4. Nefertiri (Loner Life in Another World)
Nefertiri hasn’t appeared in the Loner Life in Another World anime yet, but she still counts. She is the Dance Saint of the legendary Six Saints. Nefertiri was bound by the church after she fell in battle. Haruka used his skill to free her from their control. She then became one of his harem girls.
Shoji Goji posted the original Loner Life in Another World novel to Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 12th, 2016. Overlap obtained the publishing rights and hired the artists Booota and Saku Enokimaru to adapt the series to a light novel format. This new run began on January 25th, 2018, in the Overlap Bunko imprint. Thirteen volumes have since been published.
5. Morgiana (Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic)
Morgiana is a former slave who joined Alibaba and Aladdin. As a Fanalis, she boasts incredible physical abilities. These skills are rivaled only by her dancing like a harem girl.
Shinobu Ohtaka wrote and illustrated the Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic manga from June 3rd, 2009 to October 11th, 2017. Shogakukan published all 37 volumes in Weekly Shonen Sunday.
