We have discussed a few different types of anime girls, from bunny girls, to elf girls, and even samurai girls. All of them are perfect in every way. Most, if not all of them, are capable fighters. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the most overpowered anime girls to ever grace our screens.
1. Rebecca Bluegarden (EDENS ZERO)
Starting off with a more recent entry in the long history of overpowered girls is Rebecca Bluegarden. Looking at it, she wields a couple of different powers that make her a threat to all of existence. Besides her Cat Leaper ability and her Overdrive form, she can travel through time and alter history at will. Cat Leaper, which seemingly just allows the user to leap in the air and move at incredible speeds, also allows them to leap through time.
2. Eternal Sailor Moon / Sailor Cosmos (Sailor Moon)
Eternal Sailor Moon and Sailor Cosmos are more powerful versions of Sailor Moon. Sailor Ceres considers Sailor Cosmos “Sailor Moon’s Ultimate Form”, but Sailor Cosmos will not hear of it, and she considers her younger self the “True Sailor Cosmos.” Regardless, both forms, the present-day Usagi, and herself from the far distant future, are truly overpowered. Both wield the Cosmos Crystal, granting magical abilities that have a wide area of effect. I’m talking across distant stars. They also wield standard magical abilities to smite evil wherever they see it, and their battles tend to have galaxy-wide consequences.
3. Haruhi Suzumiya (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yutsu)
Haruhi is a goddess-like being that can change reality on a whim. She can alter the weather, make animals talk, and even change the orbit of the Earth. Her more godlike abilities enable her to outright change reality and bring things into being, such as espers, time travelers, and aliens, simply because she’s interested in them. Unfortunately, she isn’t aware of her own powers, but thankfully, she’s more interested in creation than destruction. Her “Closed Spaces” areas form when she is in a bad mood, and are a threat to all, but Kyon and others take care of them, and the “celestials” that are created inside them.
She also has goddess-like singing and rocking abilities.
4. Kaguya Otsutsuki (Naruto)
Kaguya is called the Mother of Chakra because she is the first person in the world to use chakra. Through her and the undeniable power she wields, all things are possible. Like others on this list, she can bend the space around her and manipulate the minds of others. Kaguya is physically gifted, being able to fight Naruto and Sasuke with little effort, while employing a diverse range of ninjutsu. It was only through the assistance of her own son Hagoromo that she was sealed away once more.
5. Téa Gardner (Anzu Mazaki) (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
Yeah, go ahead and laugh. In a series with literal gods, alien or otherwise, ancient sorcerers, and enemies from other dimensions and timelines, I’m arguing that the most overpowered character in Yu-Gi-Oh! is Téa Gardner, known as Anzu Mazaki in the original Japanese version. Well yes, she is. Look at her win-loss streak: 3 – 0. She has never lost a duel, and she is the only character in the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise to make that claim. She beat Joey Wheeler (Katsuya Jonouchi) once on screen, and a few times offscreen, Mai Valentine (Mai Kujaku) in the Duelist Kingdom, and Crump (Shuzo Otaki) in the Virtual World. In a world with gods and sorcerers, this normal girl has never lost a duel. She’s the real Queen of Games.
6. Artoria Pendragon (Saber) (Fate/stay night)
The famous genderbent King Arthur from the long-running Fate series. Her combat skills alone are peerless, but she wields the mighty Excalibur, a weapon that serves to protect the planet from any threat. Her scabbard Avalon grants a powerful healing and regeneration ability and an impenetrable shield that was able to redirect Gilgamesh’s own Enuma Elish skill right back at him. She truly is an overpowered individual, though her Lancer class is overpowered in more ways than one. Somehow, she has a more mature figure with her Rhongomyniad.
Bonus. Mori Calliope (Hololive)
Mori Calliope is a literal goddess of death. She can reap souls with her scythe, and as seen in a brief accidental tussle with Murasaki Shion, she can fly, move at great speeds, and she can evade projectiles with relative ease. Above all else, however, she is a goddess of death, which means that she can kill essentially anyone. You can’t beat death, after all.
