Strawberry and the Bleach Cosplay
Since Bleach began serialization (all the way back in August 2001), fans have been in ship wars over Rukia and Orihime. Either you’re a fan of the busty, orange-haired friend or the ethereal, mysterious Soul Reaper. We can understand the arguments for both girls, even if we have a personal favorite.
Rukia represents a new, exciting chapter in teenage Ichigo’s life. She literally gives him new powers and a sense of purpose he’d struggled to find before. On the other hand, Orihime is warm and caring, a little ditzy but well-meaning, and quickly awakens powers that rival the strongest beings in Bleach’s universe. It’s a dead heat for us with these amazing Bleach cosplays!
Bleach’s ending is making us think about the passage of time, and how 2027 is barely two months away (oh dear God, make it stop). Give yourself the best chance to conquer the new year with one of our anime-themed calendars, or get risqué with nude pin-up calendars featuring your favorite JAV stars!

Right, Mari Aisu’s Orihime is a stunning take on everyday life for our redheaded gal.

Right, Kumiho’s Orihime cosplay is beautifully posed and photographed!
Is Your Arrancar Running?
One of our favorite things about Bleach is the diverse lineup of women. Sure, compared to modern series, it’s lacking leading ladies, but for an early 2000s series, Tite Kubo did pretty well. Although Ichigo has an unfortunate habit of “saving the damsel in distress,” plenty of Bleach girls can hold their own.
The Arrancar/Hueco Mundo arc introduces two very memorable characters: the klutzy-but-secretly-strong Nelliel and the intimidating Espada No. 3, Tier Harribel. It’s pretty easy to see why we love these girls and their — ahem — “personalities.” In all seriousness, Nell is an amazing (and underrated) character throughout the series, and Harribel makes for a striking villain in both design and power.
If, like us, you’re a cultured fan of girls with bigger breasts (there’s no judging here), then check out the J-List store’s impressive range of kyonyu products!

Right, Non goes all out in this sexy cosplay of Espada No. 3, Tier Harribel!

Right, Iceiiys offers us a surprise gender-bent Aizen cos!
Once More unto the Bleach
Taking a trip back into the Soul Society, let’s look at the women who shaped our protagonists and the next generation of characters. After all, what’s a proper shonen without a few last-minute training arcs?
Among the Soul Society’s hottest captains and lieutenants is the iconic Yoruichi, first introduced as a black cat and later revealed as a master of illusion and speed. And who can forget the busty blonde (or redhead, depending on anime/manga differences), Rangiku? Plus, we’re big fans of the overlooked but very capable Soi Fon, who embodies more ninjutsu aspects of Bleach.

Right, AkitoCos shows us beauty and grace in her Soi Fon cosplay.
Bleach has always been famous for Tite Kubo’s character designs thanks to his interest in fashion. His characters and outfits have a practical, urban appeal that makes them fascinatingly “real” when cosplayed.

Right, Leeloo gives Nemu some love, the loyal attendant of the questionably ethical R&D department.
Thanks for reading this article on Bleach cosplay! Bleach might be almost over, but we’re quietly hopeful we’ll see more — either the ever-elusive “Hell Arc” or maybe (fingers crossed) a second season of Burn the Witch!. Are you an OG Bleach fan? And who’s your favorite girl from the series? Let us know in the comments, and as always, thanks for reading!
