Google Play may have an issue with Azur Lane, but that’s a sentiment we don’t share. We at J-List adore all manner of sexy waifus. Be it cat girls, horse girls, boy girls, or ship girls, we’re happy to see them lewded. And unlike Google Play, we also know that being a bit sexy doesn’t equate to being NSFW. So to celebrate what in our eyes is perfectly safe-for-work merch, check out our modestly sexy Azur Lane figures.
Azur Lane Figures — Alter’s Atago Midsummer March 1/7 Figure
This elegant figure is based on one of the recently removed in-game skins. And the fact that the skin proved problematic baffles me. I can’t believe Google Play looked at Atago wearing this tame bikini and got upset. I can install a Shein app and order (alleged) human rights abuse-laden clothing, but God forbid I buy Atago’s bikini outfit. Jesus himself apparently told Alphabet Inc. he has an issue with the latter option. Hate-filled tangent aside, let me switch from ruminating about the state of the world to being giddy over Alter’s opulent Alter’s Atago Midsummer March 1/7 Figure.
Part of Alter’s 1/7 line, this resplendent Maiko Munetoshi-sculpted Azur Lane figure stands at 9.4″. Featuring the Sakura Empire’s Heavy Cruiser in a charming white bikini, the figure instantly brings blue skies and cool waters to mind. Hoshina Eimi handled the figure’s color production, and I cannot praise them enough for their work. How someone makes a figure look like it’s basking in a sunset is beyond me. The Atago Midsummer March 1/7 Figure has a glow that seems to reflect a lazy summer sunset.
Is this figure obscene? I’m not being sarcastic. I’m genuinely asking. If anything, Atago’s pose is playfully flirty. Her kawaii expression and flower-themed hair ornament enhance her playful flirtatiousness. The $199 figure includes a clear base with an ornamental umbrella and handbag. Say “GET BENT” to Google Play and order this figure here.
Azur Lane Figures — Alter’s Baltimore Light Equipment 1/7 Figure
There’s a quote from The Executioner and Her Way of Life that stuck with me more than anything else from the show. I can’t remember it verbatim, but basically, a character mentions that clothes are supposed to enhance the beauty of a person’s body. Whoever designed Baltimore’s Light version figure apparently took that to heart because her design is perfection. Tanaka Touji used that design to sculpt one of the best-looking Azur Lane figures.
With her flowing coat, revealing one piece, and those almighty tech-themed thigh highs, this figure does for one’s soul what finding water in a desert does for one’s body. You can feel Baltimore’s commandeering presence due to the mimicked movement of her hair and clothing. And as a heavy cruiser from the Eagle Empire, that dominance is well entrenched. Her striking yellow eyes and fierce expression make your chest clench.
Watanabe Takamasa wonderfully contrasted and blended the colors of this figure. The deep blue of Baltimore’s outer jacket and the neon green interior highlight her white one-piece and further draw your eyes to her exposed abdomen. Her toned and sculpted legs peek at you through her expertly colored thigh highs. The second Alter’s 1/7 scale figure on this Azur Lane Figure list, the Baltimore Light Equipment version figure, stands at 10.14″. She retails for $210, and you can get her here.
FREEing’s Washington 1/4 B-style Bunny Figure
If you asked me who loves bunny girls more — Hugh Hefner or the folks at FREEing — I’d tell you that it’s easier to figure out the meaning of life. Bunny figures are to FREEing what snow is to tall mountains. They’re meant to be together. The figure maker makes this clear with the Washington B-style Bunny Figure.
Sculpted by Dragon Craft and Morikura, this elegant Azur Lane figure makes the Eagle Empire’s battleship shine. Striking the perfect blend of alluring and elegant, the figure expertly uses Washington’s curves to draw your attention. High-heeled boots, fishnet stockings, and a leather two-piece bunny outfit add a graceful look to Washington’s relaxed demeanor. Her smug expression and double peace gesture aim to be kawaii, but they draw your attention straight to her chest. FREEing knew they were doing this. You can’t convince me otherwise.
Yozakura’s paint job is a standout achievement. Expert handling of leather’s sheen and the outfit’s colors brings Washington to life. Standing tall at 17.7 inches, this 1/4 B-Style figure makes a striking presence. The height of this Azur Lane figure is a plus as it means you can use it as a centerpiece. This in-stock figure retails for $270, and you can order her here.
