We’re always told to be wary of “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” But what about dragons dressed like nekos? What fate befalls those who think they’ll get a “nyan!” but instead get a monster from medieval times? You won’t believe me, but they receive a loving companion! And if you’re looking for one of those, the Sol International Tohru Cat Dragon 1/6 figure is here for you (for a $140.25 fee).
Sol International’s Tohru Cat Dragon 1/6 Figure — Historically, It Makes Sense
There have been many nights in Kashou’s life where he’s wandered the streets drunk and alone due to life’s sorrows (spelled ‘work’). A crumpled $20 was the most meaningful thing I found on my misadventures. Now that my excessive drinking days are behind me, I wonder where I went wrong. What magical mix of alcohol and bad decisions would take me to a place where I’d befriend a sexy dragon? As much as I try to find an answer, I can’t. Luckily, Sol International gave me a solid consolation prize: the Tohru Cat Dragon Figure.
We once worshiped dragons and cats. Adding an anime girl to the mix seems like the 2020s version of the Holy Trinity. And that moniker is fitting because Tohru is divine in this figure. Her vibrant flame-colored hair and flawless porcelain skin beautifully contrast with her gray, tiger-striped, cat-maid costume. Tohru’s eyes give this nyantastic figure an additional touch of kawaii; her dragon eyes mirror those of a cat.
Katagiri Youhei sculpted the Tohru Cat Dragon Figure to elegantly highlight the kawaii dragon’s sexiness. Tohru’s muscles and curves don’t pop out, but oh, how they welcome your eyes to wander. It’s like a sunset over rolling grassy plains — it’s in the background, but you’re always aware of it. And at 10.6” (27 cm) there’s plenty to be aware of, so don’t be shy, hit that “add to cart” button.
The Tohru Cat Dragon Figure includes a built-in base shaped like a cat bed! You’ll receive 280 reward points for this purchase.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
Kyoto Animation adapted the Kobayashi-san Chi no Meidoragon manga into a TV anime (with two seasons) and a theatrical film, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved. Crunchyroll streams the TV anime. The franchise also includes a Bushiroad-produced shoot ’em up game, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath. It’s available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
Has the Tohru Cat Dragon Figure got you hungry for more? How about these Kana figures, this ultra-sexy Tohru figure, or Coolkyousinnjya’s Paranoia Cage manga?
I reviewed Paranoia Cage a while back. Here’s what I thought of it.
