Alter’s Entoma so-bin 1/8 Figure — For the Bug Lovers of the World
If Cygame’s success with Umamusume taught me anything, it’s that you can quickly subdue the masses with lewdable waifus. Perhaps that was what Kugane Maruyama (Overlord’s author) aimed to do when he created Entoma. This kawaii battle maid is bound to give anyone with entomophobia endless mental strife. Inside every person who dislikes bugs but loves Overlord, there are two wolves. One wants to douse Entoma with Raid, and the other wants to wiggle into her like a tapeworm.
Regardless of which side you most agree with, you have to admit — Entoma is playfully kawaii. And the Entoma so-bin 1/8 figure also serves to highlight that playfulness. This 7.9″ (20 cm) figure features Entoma in a moe-sleeve, obsidian-colored hoodie. Because of the clothes Entoma usually wears in Overlord, I’ve never really appreciated how attractive her lower half is. That changed because of this figure, because dear lord, Entoma’s ass and legs in those striped stockings and shiny black high heels are mesmerizing. If I ever met this enticing battle maid, I’d ask her to turn around and make it clap. Would that get me in trouble? YES. But would it be worth it? Also, yes.
Entoma’s expression may be rigid, but it exudes a certain smug and confident air. The clear base of the figure enhances the dark allure of Entoma’s insectoid shadow. Everything about the Entoma so-bin 1/8 figure’s design radiates a threatening yet alluring aura. This in-stock figure retails for $155. It’s based on an illustration by so-bin. Saitou Fumiki sculpted it and features Tetsumori Nanami’s color production. So, go ahead — hit that “add to cart” button eagerly and welcome this seductive bug into your home.
Overlord Details
For years, Suzuki Satoru devoted himself to the DMMORPG YGGDRASIL. Through countless hours of in-game grinding, Suzuki’s character Momonga (a lich) became one of the strongest in one of the game’s top guilds. However, by the time YGGDRASIL announced its End of Service, the mighty Ainz Ooal Gown guild had become a shadow of its former self. Yet, Satoru-san remained faithful to his beloved game until its final moments. When the server shut down, and Suzuki appeared inside YGGDRASIL, he found himself in a new life with companions and nearly unlimited power. Adopting his character’s persona, he set out to dominate his new world.
Kugane Maruyama is the author of the Overlord light novels. The series features illustrations by so-bin, who is also responsible for the Entoma so-bin 1/8 figure. Overlord began as a web novel before Enterbrain acquired the story and started publishing it in print. To date, the light novel has been adapted into four seasons of TV anime. Satoshi Oshi and Hugin Miyama have also adapted it into a manga. The franchise boasts a theatrical film, crossover OVAs, and even an SRPG.
