Every time I tell someone that I like Sword Art Online, I get accused of being a basic weeb. Is that true? I certainly can’t answer that. As I can lewd Asuna, I’m happy if you call me every slur known to man. I’ve never been keen on romance. I’m not the type to daydream about the perfect partner, but the Lord (or Flying Spaghetti Monster) knows that I’ve daydreamed about Asuna. She’s hot, supportive, comforting, and adventurous. Finding those traits in someone is like pulling Manhattan Café, Meshio Doto, Suzuka, and Tama-chan at the same time in Umamusume. The universe really needs to love you for that to happen. But if there’s one thing the universe doesn’t do, it’s love me, so to the Asuna dress shirt figure I go!

Taking place after Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale, Sword Art Online: Alicization — War of Underworld is the third season of the SAO franchise. The anime covers the fifteenth to eighteenth volumes of the light novels.
Reki Kawahara is the author of the Sword Art Online light novel, with abec providing the illustrations. The series started as a web novel on Kawahara-sensei’s website, which Kadokawa later acquired. ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko began publishing the Sword Art Online light novels in April 2009. Several SAO manga adaptations exist. Yen Press publishes the English version of the light novels and manga in North America. Crunchyroll streams most of the Sword Art Online anime adaptations (depending on your region).
