Every veteran otaku knows that no matter how much time passes, there’s always a slight chance that a manga or anime will get a continuation. Hell, one of my favorite anime, FLCL, had 16 years between its first and second installment. Luckily, I don’t have to wait that long to hear about Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs again! Weekly Shonen Jump recently announced that Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san is getting a 17-page one-shot manga in Jump Giga‘s summer issue. So come August 17, I’ll get to see my favorite lewd ghost again!
Weekly Shonen Jump didn’t specify what the one-shot would be about. However, the magazine stated that the one-shot was part of a tenth anniversary celebration of Yunna and the Haunter Hot Springs.

Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs Deets
When you’re broke, homeless, and out of luck, it’s difficult to find a place to sleep. Kogarashi Fuyuzora knows that better than most people. Even though he’s a teenager, he’s already living on the streets, desperately searching for a place to live. And that endeavor has been extremely challenging. However, one day he stumbles onto an ultra-cheap boarding house whose only downfall is that it’s haunted. But that’s not an issue for Kogarashi — he’s a psychic! And he can exorcise those dastardly ghosts and demons! However, when he meets the dreaded apparition, she’s a mournful, lovable girl named Yunna. For ages, Yunna has been bound to the boarding house and former hot springs due to lingering regrets. Seeing this, Kogarashi gives up on exorcising her, and instead helps her move on.
Tadahiro Miura wrote and illustrated Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs. Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) serialized the manga from February 2016 to June 2020. Shueisha released a special chapter of Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san on Jump Giga the following July. The publisher compiled the manga’s chapters into 24 tankobon volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment released the English version of the manga.
The now-defunct Studio Xebec, which animated To LOVE-Ru, BanG Dream!, and Triage X, produced the anime adaptation of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs. The anime aired during the summer of 2018. Crunchyroll currently streams the anime.
