A princess at war against the Demon King, and his forces, is captured! The kingdom is dismayed at what is happening to their beloved warrior princess. If you’ve seen Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, you have a general idea. ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess (Hime-sama “Gomon” no Jikan desu) sees a princess meet friendly demons during her time as a prisoner.
Studio Pine Jam has released a brief teaser trailer before the January 2024 release date. It’ll be a bit until Ms. Torture makes Princess confess state secrets using the most devious methods.
A home page to promote ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess is up, in addition to an official Twitter page. Behind-the-scenes information, and the key visual art, can all be found there. Also, the artist behind the original manga series has a Twitter page where he recently shared a drawing celebrating the anime adaptation.
Enjoy Your Torture, Princess
As previously stated, ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess has a premise similar to Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle. The humans and demons are at war, and the Demon King orders the human princess captured. The Princess (voiced by Haruka Shiraishi) is a warrior, first and foremost. She wields the legendary blade Excalibur (voiced by Chikahiro Kobayashi). Contrary to her outward appearance, she lives for food the way Suyaris of Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle lives for sleep.
The demons of the Hellhorde captured the unnamed Princess during a battle. Stripped of her armor, she’s left in a cell wearing only rags and her sealed sentient blade Excalibur. Torture Tortura (voiced by Shizuka Ito), the Hellhorde’s highest-ranking chief interrogator, prepares her a fine meal that she may eat on the condition that she gives a state secret. Princess breaks almost immediately every time. Most of the secrets shared are useless trivia, such as the King’s hobbies or favorite foods. The Hell-Lord completely ignores these secrets on the rare times the Princess does share vital information, such as guard schedules.
Princess also endures other types of torture, such as friendship bonding, animal cuddling, and the Hell-Lord’s daughter being adorable. She is also permitted to enjoy staff bonding events outside of the castle. Indeed, she’s good friends with almost anyone she interacts with.
