The next season is finally upon us! Our queen of heresy has returned! A tragic traffic accident ends a normal Japanese high school student’s life and sends her to another world. No, Truck-kun is innocent this time; Car-chan subbed in for him that day. Reborn as Pride Royal Ivy, she is the villainess of her favorite otome game, Our Ray of Light. Alarmed by the prospect of watching terrible tragedies unfold — including her own death — Pride sets out to change the story. We’ll see how she defies fate when The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior (Higeki no Genkyo to naru Saikyo Gedo Last Boss Joo wa Min no tame ni Tsukushimasu) Season 2 premieres on April 7th, 2026.

The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen Cast
The kind villainess isekai protagonist, her charming sister, and one of her potential love interests are as follows:

- Tiara Royal Ivy — Haruka Tomatsu (Lala Satalin Deviluke from To LOVE-Ru). Tiara is Pride’s younger sister. She would have been the protagonist before Pride changed the story.
- Leon Adonis Coronaria — Shinnosuke Tachibana (Kashou Minaduki from Nekopara). Leon is the firstborn prince and heir of the Anemone Kingdom.

The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen Returns with a Vengeance
A typical Japanese high school girl’s life ends far too soon as she crosses the street. Someone grants her desire to play her favorite otome game, Our Ray of Light, with a twist. This unassuming girl can now live in a world based on the game, only as the villainess rather than the protagonist. This new Pride refuses to follow the game’s story, causing everyone’s downfall. She’ll use her knowledge of the game to save everyone, including herself.
The recent chapter shows more of Pride’s love life in action. Both she and Prince Leon of the Anemone Kingdom are making some very strong moves on one another here and there. Prince Cedric of the kingdom of Cercis makes his own moves and disrupts Pride’s heart just as much. Both guys were supposed to make moves on Tiara in the game, but Pride’s actions put her at the center of attention.
