The school prefect, Tougo, and the flashy gyaru often clash over Poemu’s fashion choices. Poemu is a gyaru through and through, complete with light hair and a short skirt. She argues that she has not broken any rules and is quick to strike when Tougo admits that he accidentally saw her panties more than once. The squabbling prefect and gyaru are as follows:
- Tougo Sakuradaimon — Junya Enoki (Shosuke Komi from Komi Can’t Communicate). Tougo is a rigid prefect who strongly adheres to the rules.
- Poemu Kohinata — Riko Akechi (Kanade Gouhara from Witch Watch). Poemu is a surprisingly gifted gyaru.

Gyaru and Prefect Clash in Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin
Tougo Sakuradaimon is a strict prefect who adheres to the school rules, no matter what. Naturally, he often argues with the flashy gyaru Poemu Kohinata. Poemu has dyed her hair a lighter color and wears a scandalously short skirt. She argues that her skirt might look short enough to flash her panties, but it never happens. Tougo reluctantly admits that he has seen her panties multiple times. Poemu rewarded his honesty with a swift strike to the gut.
Poemu felt some measure of security since Tougo did not know her name or her class number. There should have been no chance for them to run into one another in the same classroom. That went out the window because Poemu skipped a math class and must take the same math supplementary class as Tougo. She quickly learns that his rigid thinking makes him a poor student in class and offers to help him through the math lesson. A friendship quickly forms between these two opposites.
