Magic: the Gathering, the collectible card game from Wizards of the Coast, has joined hands with Square Enix to bring Final Fantasy to the popular card game.

According to ICv2, Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks predicts that Final Fantasy will break sales records for the card game following promising preorder sales. The prerelease runs from June 6th until June 12th and later for some formats. The set includes themed cards inspired by every FF game from Final Fantasy through Final Fantasy XVI.

The Magic: the Gathering—Final Fantasy set promises to be a nostalgic celebration of Final Fantasy games while standing alone as a strong addition to Magic as a whole.
But don’t take my word for it. If you’ve been a fan of Final Fantasy for long enough, you’ll appreciate this two-mana red sorcery:

Tariffs Suspected of Impacting Prerelease Dates in China
ICv2 also announced that Wizards of the Coast has delayed sales of the Final Fantasy set to mainland China by a week. Tariffs have been in flux for both the USA and China, but there is no confirmation if tariffs are to blame for the delay.
