Mato Seihei no Slave Details
Takahiro wrote the Chained Soldier manga, which features illustrations by Takemura-sensei. Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ has serialized the manga on its online platform since January 2019. The publisher has released nineteen tankoubon volumes. Yen Press publishes the English version of the manga in North America.
When inter-dimensional portals open across Japan, ultra-terrestrial beings known as Shuuki begin rampaging across the nation. Hailing from the Mato dimension, these monsters quickly overwhelm the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. But when all seems lost, it’s discovered that when women eat a particular kind of fruit from Maho, they gain magical abilities that let them fight the Shuuki.
Yuuki Wakura calls this world home. Like most civilians, the front lines are something he’s not acquainted with. But when he’s suddenly teleported to Maho, and the Anti-Demon Corps’ 7th Unit Chief, Kyouka Uzen, saves him, Yuuki’s life drastically changes. Unbeknownst to Yuuki and Kyouka, their coincidental meeting becomes a much-needed boost in their lives. Yuuki proves so indispensable to the 7th Unit that they made him an unofficial member of the squad.
