So, Shin no Seijo de Aru Watashi wa Tsuihou Saremashita is getting an anime, but do we know more? We do! This adaptation announcement also included news about the anime’s production staff and studio. Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab, the studio that gave us I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, will animate Shin no Seijo. Tsukasa Sakurai will be the anime’s director. Additional production staff includes:
- Naoki Tozuka — Scripts
- Naru Nishikouri — Character Design
Additionally, we also know that Taku Yashiro (Natsuo in Domestic Girlfriend) will voice Nigel. Masumi Tazawa (Ikuno Dictus in Umamusume) will voice Eliane.
Because I, the True Saint, was Banished, that Country is Done For! will adapt Shikizo Utsuzawa’s light novel of the same name. Utsuzawa first released Shin no Seijo on Shosetsuka ni Naro in June 2020. Kodansha later acquired the publishing rights and released the story as a light novel with illustrations by Pukyunosuke. Matsu adapted the light novel into a manga in April 2021. Kodansha’s Palcy app has serialized the manga since.

For most of her life, the saint Eliane has protected the Kingdom of Belkheim. And for all that time, neither monster nor plague had touched those lands. Yet when a fake saint tells Eliane’s princely fiancée that she’s a fake, her man banishes her to the shadow realm. Well, not really, but he does kick her out of the kingdom. Now homeless and broke (Ahh, the millennial life), Eliane is free to wander. However, due to a random encounter, her expected life isn’t the future she thought she’d have.
