Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk premieres on April 10, and the anime’s production company has released a new visual and trailer to hype the release. The new full-length release debuted the anime’s opening song, “Mebuku toki,” by yonige. Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana will be Studio Soigne’s second time animating an adaptation.
Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk — Synopsis and Production Details
Alcohol has been the start of many friendships. That’s something that Ibuki Tonami and her junior Botan Kamiina can vouch for. While Ibuki is a dorm leader at a university in Chichibu (Saitama), she prefers to drink alone. And while her dormmates usually respect Ibuki’s solitude, when she disappears during a drinking session, Botan goes to find her. That’s when Botan learns that Ibuki has a complex over her drunken hiccups. But since Botan cared little for that “issue,” she joins Ibuki for a drink, and a friendship blooms.

Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk is written and illustrated by Hey. The Champion Cross web service (Akita Shoten) has serialized the manga since March 2019. Akita Shoten has compiled the manga’s chapters into seven tankobon volumes.
Will You Watch This Anime?
The only thing I like more than fan service-filled shows is cuddly CGDCT anime. It’s a way of hurting myself since I use them to remind myself that’s the life I want but won’t have. If the anime depicts something I enjoy, like fishing or rockhounding, it’s even better. And there are few things I enjoy more than a decent drink with good company (or a solo drink with a good view). So Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk is right up my alley. The anime is already giving me early Yama no Susume and Non Non Biyori vibes. What shows are you looking forward to the most?
