November is the month of several seasons. It comes after Oktoberfest, Halloween, and baseball season have ended, but don’t swap out those orange and yellow decorations just yet. Pumpkins are a big deal for Thanksgiving feasts, fancy latte creations, and the number one gourd for nutmeg spices to land on. What about November in Japan? It’s an online meme season because the number 11 resembles いい (ii — good) in the Japanese hiragana alphabet. The Japanese love their pictographic puns, so they combine “good” with many other puns. Such as Nice Belly Button Day! いいお腹の日 (ii onaka no hi — good stomach day) derives from 11/07, spelled out by substituting “naka” with “nana” (七, seven). And now we have an excuse to look at anime girls’ belly buttons.

Tales of Wedding Rings S2 (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari S2) Flashes More than Tummies
This ecchi show of the Fall 2025 season (with uncensored nipples and harem dynamics) kicked the fanservice into high gear in the third episode. The five Ring Brides visited the Ring King in his bed chamber, wearing ancient elven lingerie. How funny that they found sets that matched their tastes and personalities. And they all showed their belly buttons, making it a nice belly button day for the Ring King.
The Elder Elf (Peridot) had a long and fruitful hobby researching sex and mating rituals. Watching the dwarf golem (Amber) ask the main character to verify whether her reproductive parts looked “functional” was my favorite part. Amber was a magical AI sex doll with a sophisticated onahole. We’re fast approaching the Singularity, boys!
Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun! (Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun), Where Every Day is Nice Belly Button Day
Have you watched this show yet? You can catch up quickly through J-List Blog’s episode recaps and reviews. But if you haven’t, imagine you are a man with golden hands who can lay them on fit and trim female athletes every day. Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun (lit. — No touching, Kotesashi-kun) combines the dorm caretaker ecchi scenario with the lecherous massage parlor setting. And the girls don’t even get naked! Except for that one. But they fantasize about the main character’s fantastic hands bringing them to orgasmic heights, which naturally allows you to see everything. Especially their tight midriffs. You can enjoy Nice Belly Button Day each week.
Kouyou Kotesashi has not rubbed anyone’s belly yet, but it must be a matter of time before that happens. By far the most hilarious scene, up through the midseason, has been Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun using the hentai anime insertion scene for rubbing the crease of an extended shoulder blade. If you know, you know!
Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai (Let This Grieving Soul Retire) and Belly-Baring Bikini Brawling
How does a tale set in a fantasy RPG-style world starring a lucky hoarder harem king handle a swimsuit episode? It calls hunting for underwater monsters “lake fishing,” and sticks an energetic tanned waifu in a red bikini! Liz Smart, the Grieving Souls party’s thief, satisfies the Flat Justice crowd and offers more bare skin per second of screen time than the other characters. You can see her nice belly button all the time!
The Nageki hot springs episode aired the following week, so I had hoped to see the other girls, Sitri Smart and Tino Shade, also flaunting more skin than usual. Alas, no belly buttons or memorable steamy shots came to the screen. Disappointed!
Bukiyou na Senpai. (My Awkward Senpai) Supports Staring at Tummies
Aren’t we lucky that the office romantic comedy anime of the fall season sets itself in a marketing department? That means Azusa Kannawa, the socially awkward senior, has many opportunities to review ad copy and collaboration merchandise for their clients. And she has other duties. Like attending a bikini photo shoot in Okinawa! That’s right. Bukiyou na Senpai already aired its swimsuit episode. Azusa’s slim and stacked proportions showed off her nice belly button and her nice oppai! When is Nice Oppai Day again? Tomorrow.
I enjoy one more thing about Bukiyou na Senpai besides offering anime watchers something outside the isekai or high school harem rom-com genres. The adults are the main characters and enjoy drinking! Well, the drinking part. Not the too-much-drinking part. This is an office lady anime, after all.

One of our favorite doujin artists is Mignon, who specializes in drawing lithe bodies in moist situations. And he loves navels, belly buttons, tummies, midriffs, slim abs, and flat stomachs. What do you mean that I repeated myself five times?
J-List has five of his art books in stock, featuring his recurring characters in POV scenarios. My favorite is Sarah, the tsundere maid. She always starts her love scenes with a reluctant, disgusted expression on her face. But then Sarah succumbs to the pleasure as it builds inside her wet tummy.
