One of the cutest cosplay waifus around finally takes the stage, again! Marin is the pure-hearted cosplay gyaru waifu we all want in our lives. She begins her cosplay adventures after meeting a doll maker with a talent for sewing. We’ll see how close the tailor and his doll become when My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru) returns sometime in July 2025.
Shinichi Fukuda released the original My Dress-Up Darling manga series from January 19th, 2018, to March 21st, 2025. Square Enix published all fourteen volumes in Young Gangan. CloverWorks’s anime adaptation premiered on January 9th, 2022.
The tailor and his lovely doll are as follows:
- Wakana Gojo — Shoya Ishige (Yusaku Fujiki in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS). A tailor and doll maker who hides his hobbies from others.
- Marin Kitagawa — Hina Suguta (Guinaifen from Honkai: Star Rail). A cute and sexy gyaru who loves to cosplay.

Wakana Gojo has long hidden his enjoyment of crafting hina dolls and outfits. His self-confidence sustained a hit after a friend told him boys shouldn’t play with dolls. Despite that trauma, he continues working to reach his grandfather’s crafting level. Wakana’s life takes a strange and exciting turn when the school idol discovers his hobby.
Marin Kitagawa is a friendly and attractive gyaru who loves anime and manga. She discovers Wakana’s hobby and not only encourages his hobby, but she also pushes him to sew cosplay outfits as well. Wakana begins to live out every cultured man’s dream: sewing cute and sexy cosplay outfits for an adorable and sexy gyaru girl.
