Disgraced Noble Lady’s Crash Course in Naughtiness (I’m Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness I’ll Spoil Her with Delicacies and Style to Make Her the Happiest Woman in the World!, or Konyaku Haki sareta Reijou wo Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto wo Oshiekomu: Oishii Mono wo Tabesasete Oshare wo Sasete, Sekaiichi Shiawase na Shoujo ni Produce!) continues the trend of having whole plot summaries stand in for the title. It’s just silly at this point. Thankfully the series itself seems to actually be pretty good. A noblewoman is accused of something pretty heinous by the man she was meant to marry, so she flees for her life, right into the arms of a feared sorcerer who looks like Blade from Hero Classroom and prefers his solitude.
The series with the overly long title is set to premiere sometime in the Fall of 2023. Until then, we have a trailer to enjoy.
Zero-G, the studio adapting Disgraced Noble Lady’s Crash Course in Naughtiness, has set up a promotional home page, an official Twitter page, and a TikTok page (for some reason) to keep fans and potential viewers up to date with new series announcements. Extras, such as the key visual seen below, can be found there.
Betrayed by the Groom
Disgraced Noble Lady’s Crash Course in Naughtiness starts off with what should have been a pretty decent day, but things quickly went south. Charlotte Evans (voiced by Saori Hayami) was all set to marry her betrothed, the second prince of the Neruz Kingdom, Prince Cecil. She was accused of spending an obscene amount of tax money on an extravagant lifestyle, carried on illicit affairs with multiple other men, and even plotted to assassinate the king. These accusations were leveled at Charlotte by Prince Cecil himself, who had ordered her to be imprisoned. Of course, he annulled their engagement. Either because he fell for someone else, or she was an illegitimate daughter, but Cecil wanted out of his marriage to Charlotte.
Charlotte fled when there was a change in guards, and became lost in a nearby forest. There, she saw a mansion and collapsed. She was found by the so-called Demon King sorcerer, Allen Crawford (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), who himself knew the sting of betrayal, which led him to his current hermit lifestyle. He decided then to protect her, and teach her all sorts of naughty things. This amounted to pampering her and giving her desserts, that were, for some reason, considered “naughty.”
Disgraced Noble Lady’s Crash Course in Naughtiness Origins
Disgraced Noble Lady’s Crash Course in Naughtiness first betrayed a cute girl and saw her defended by an incredibly powerful mage as a novel series first posted to the user-generated website Shosetsuka ni Naro on August 12th, 2019, where it continues to this day.
Shufu to Seikatsu Sha adapted the series to light novel form, where the artist Sakura Miwabe provided illustrations. The series began its run in the PASH! Books imprint on March 27th, 2020, and it currently has three volumes available.
Not content with only a light novel series, Shufu to Seikatsu Sha saw fit to hire Ichiho Katsura to draw out a full manga adaptation to be published in its PASH UP! magazine. The first chapter was released on March 26th, 2020, and a total of five volumes have been created thus far.
Judging from the series, Allen Crawford seems to think that treating someone to extra sweets is “naughty.” Well, J-List could offer him some tips on what “naughty” actually means, starting with a girl wearing more revealing clothing. The 23 Original Heroine Sera Bikini ver. B2 Tapestry should point him in the right direction on what clothes he should offer Charlotte Evans.
