The day that ecchi fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. After being delayed for a season at the last possible moment in October, the anime adaptation of World’s End Harem has finally revealed its brand new premiere date.
In a tweet sent out on their official Twitter account, the staff behind this series revealed that the new premiere date for episode one will be January 7th. If you’ve somehow missed out on hearing about what will most certainly be the horniest anime of the winter 2022 season, the last couple of times we talked about it here on the J-List blog, let’s play a quick game of catch up.

Originally a manga series written by LINK and illustrated by Kotaro Shono which ran in the online magazine Shonen Jump+ from 2016 to 2020 (a second part, titled World’s End Harem: After World, has been running since May 2021), the series stars a young man caught in an… enviable situation? Yeah, let’s call it that.
In the main story of World’s End Harem, the setting is Japan in the year 2040 and the star of the story is a young man named Reito Mizuhara with an incurable disease. Deciding to go into cryostasis until a cure for his rare disease can be developed, Reito sleeps for only five years before they awaken him in an entirely new world. It seems that in the time that he was in suspended animation, a new disease ravaged the Earth and killed off almost all the male population on the planet. Except for a lucky few who went into stasis before they could be killed by the weird new disease, known as MK (Man Killer).
Upon awakening, Reito learns he is one of five men in Japan who have developed a natural immunity to the MK virus and thus is being forced to participate in a special program where he is to impregnate as many women as possible in order to repopulate the planet.
If you’re wondering what this scenario would look like in anime form, we have a NSFW promotional video for you to check out.
