It’s been a trying few months for J-List, as international shipping was disrupted by the Coronavirus situation, wreaking havoc with international flights, which carry the bulk of international air freight. Japan Post was forced to halt accepting packages to the U.S. and several other countries, leaving DHL shipping as the only shipping option. Happily the situation is slowly improving, and we’ve got a J-List shipping update with positive announcements for our customers in the U.S. and Asia!
U.S.-Bound Airmail and EMS Packages are Being Delivered
When the crisis hit, a big problem was that hundreds of shipped packages were unable to be delivered and remained in limbo for several months, while Japan Post assessed the situation. (SAL packages were all returned to us, and we contacted each customer to ask what they wanted to do with their order.) A lot of J-List customers’ had their orders “frozen” in time, but happily, we can report that these packages are slowly being delivered. So if you had a figure or snack box or “special” toy that was shipped but not delivered, it should hopefully show up soon.
DHL remains the only shipping method for the U.S. at present. Thanks for your understanding and support!
